Multiple size nut driver
A nut driver for driving nuts of various sizes includes an elongated housing with opposing driver and handle ends. The driver end is open and assumes a largest size. A rigid collar and plunger are fixed about the housing and positioned at any of a number of selectable radial positions, each of which is associated with a different nut size. A plurality of nested sockets are each slidably movable by the plunger between forward and rearward positions. Each socket has a foot adapted for contacting the plunger at one of the selectable radial positions. The elongated housing is preferably separated into two sections, including a handle and a two-sided socket mechanism that includes two opposing driver ends each having sockets of different sizes.
MULTI-PURPOSE WRENCH TOOL
A multi-purpose wrench tool includes a main wrench shaft member having one or two screwdriver heads and having a bore formed in the main wrench shaft member, and a rough member formed in the bore of the main wrench shaft member, and an elongated leverage bar includes a rough element formed on one end portion of the elongated leverage bar for engaging into the bore of the main wrench shaft member and for frictionally engaging with the rough member of the main wrench shaft member and for driving the main wrench shaft member with the elongated leverage bar. The elongated leverage bar includes an outer diameter (d) no greater than an inner diameter (D) of the bore of the main wrench shaft member.
Tool and fastener marking system
The present invention is a comprehensive system, method, and apparatus for marking tools, and other related objects, to be able to quickly identify the nearest size tool, or other object, regardless of the standard a tool, or other object, is manufactured according to.
TORQUE-CORRECTABLE TORQUE WRENCH AND TORQUE CORRECTION METHOD THEREOF
A torque wrench includes a mechanical structure and an electronic structure. The mechanical structure includes a tubular body, a flexible rod, an abutment member, an elastic member, a trip mechanism, an adjustment mechanism and a mechanical scale indication mounted in the tubular body for indicating the set torque of the wrench. The electronic structure includes at least one torque sensor and a display unit. When correcting the torque value of the mechanical structure, a force is applied to the wrench and the torque sensor detects the trip torque value of the wrench. The torque value of the mechanical structure is adjusted to match the torque value detected by the torque sensor so as to eliminate the error of the torque value of the mechanical structure.
Multiple size nut driver
A nut driver for driving a nut within a range of nut sizes includes a housing. An open driver end thereof assumes a largest size of the nut sizes, and a selector end thereof terminates in a rotational knob that is positionable at any of a number of selectable radial positions. A cam is rotationally fixed with the knob and within the housing and terminates at a forward end with a selector ramp. A plurality of plungers are each slidably fixed within the housing and at a rear end thereof engage the selector ramp. Each plunger terminates at a forward end at a notched socket selector. A plurality of nested sockets each assume one of the different nut sizes and are slidably movable by at least one of the elongated plungers between a forward position within the open driver end of the housing and a rearward position.
Ratchet wrench structure
A ratchet wrench structure includes a main body provided therein with a ratchet wheel, an actuating member and a restraining block positioned between the ratchet wheel and the actuating member. The restraining member has one side provided with two recessed portions, and the actuating member is provided with a position-limiting groove corresponding with the recessed portion, and an elastic member. When the actuating member is rotated, the elastic member will be actuated to push the recessed portion to have its front edge longitudinally and evenly pressing the recessed portion to enable the elastic member to support the restraining block in its entirety. Further, when the restraining block is stressed by rotation of the ratchet wheel, the restraining block can carry out reciprocating movement because of extension and contraction of the elastic member. Thus, the ratchet wrench structure can be simplified in number of components.
Torque wrench capable of correcting torque and torque correction method thereof
Locomotive hand brake tools
An extension tool is provided for operating handwheels, such as those found on locomotive handbrakes. The tool includes a spinning handle and a tool body. The handle freely rotates about a longitudinal axis and provides a user with a spinning grip, allowing him or her to quickly and easily turn a handwheel. The tool body includes two or more jaws that clamp to the handwheel. The tool body additionally includes a screw mechanism for selectively tightening or releasing the jaws, in order to respectively attach or detach the tool from the handwheel as desired. Preferably, the screw mechanism further includes a drawbar that extends through an interior of the handle, and is adapted to move longitudinally to rotate the jaws. The drawbar is moved by rotating a threaded drawbar nut at an end of the tool.
FLOATING HAND TOOL WITH INTERCHANGEABLE HEADS
The floating hand tool is provided which includes a floating handle. The floating handle includes a handle portion, and a cap, configured to have highly visible contrasting colors. The cap is selectively coupled to the handle portion to form an airtight chamber. The floating hand tool also includes an elongated member having an anti-rotation means. The handle portion is coupled to the elongated member, the anti-rotation means preventing rotation of the elongated member relative to handle portion. The buoyancy of the airtight chamber of the floating handle in combination with the weight of the elongated member allows the floating hand tool to float in water at a vertical position with the cap fully visible above the water. The contrasting colors in combination with the buoyancy of the floating handle create a buoy effect for high visibility when the floating hand tool is placed or dropped in a body of water.
