Multi-directional driver bit
A screw bit body which allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates a gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the concave surface and the convex surface. The engagement cavity includes an angled driving portion and a concave portion. The angled driving portion is positioned adjacent to the first lateral edge with the concave portion being positioned opposite to the first lateral edge, across the angled driving portion.
Magnetic sleeve
A magnetic sleeve includes a body and a magnetic unit disposed in a second section of the body where a locking socket and a mounting hole are formed and communicating with each other. The mounting hole is enclosed by a peripheral wall while taking a reference point as center. The peripheral wall includes at least one engagement surface and at least one curved wall surface. Each engagement surface has two transition points for meeting the wall surface. The formation of one engagement surface or more engagement surfaces not only attains a firm engagement between the magnetic unit and the mounting hole but also forms a space therebetween to discharge air from the mounting hole smoothly, thereby preventing the magnetic unit from being broken during the installation. The space is also minimized to avoid undue accumulation of metal chips and allow the magnetic unit to be held in position stably.
Driver tool and method of use
A driver tool for insertion and removal of a first part configured for threaded engagement in a corresponding threaded bore in a second part has a driving end portion of polygonal shape with multiple flats configured for engagement in a recess in the first part having a corresponding polygonal shape. Some or all of the flats have a respective grabbing feature or edge designed to grab or grip into the opposing surface of the recess to allow a greater amount of torque to be applied to the first part when the tool is rotated in the unthreading direction than when it is rotated in the opposite threading or insertion direction.
Torque enhancing adapter for a hand tool
A hand tool system comprises a first driver, a second driver, and a driver adapter. The first driver and the second driver each comprises a driver handle having an external configuration and a driver component secured to the driver handle. The driver adapter is selectively fittable over the driver handles of the first and second drivers. The driver adapter comprises an elongate body, a first socket formed in a first end of the elongate body, a second socket formed in a second end of the elongate body, and a plurality of through holes formed through and distributed longitudinally along a length of the elongate body. Each socket has an internal configuration sized and shaped to receive a driver handle of either the first or second driver and to transfer torque to the driver upon rotation of the driver adapter.
FASTENER SYSTEM WITH STABILIZER RIBS AND SQUARE DRIVE
Fasteners, drivers, punches, fastener systems, and methods of making fasteners, drivers, punches, and fastener systems are disclosed herein. The fasteners, drivers, punches, and fastener systems include, in one example, stabilizing ribs and corresponding recesses.
Quick—disconnect fastening system
A fastener assembly is provided having a cylindrical shank with a plurality of annular grooves formed along a length of the shank. A plurality of elongated ribs extends perpendicular to the grooves along the length. A fastener disc is provided with a central opening with a diameter less than a cylindrical shank diameter wherein an inner edge of the central opening includes a contact surface. The fastener disc is retained on the fastener portion in a locked position when the contact surface engages one of the plurality of grooves with a friction fit. The fastener disc is rotated to a release position so that the elongated rib contacts the inner edge thereby releasing the contact surface from the grooves.
Wallet
A wallet includes a first shell with one or more openings on a shell perimeter adapted to clip one or more objects to the one or more openings; and a second shell coupled to the first shell, the second shell including a storage compartment; and first and second rails on each side of the second metal shell to slideably receive one or more cards in the storage compartment.
SCREW TIGHTENING ANGLE CONVERSION HEAD
Disclosed a screw tightening angle conversion head, including a conversion head body, wherein one end of which is fixedly provided with a mounting groove, a fixed cover plate is fixedly arranged at the upper end of the mounting groove, a transmission worm is rotatably arranged at one end inside the conversion head body close to the mounting groove, one end of the transmission worm penetrates through the conversion head body and extends out from an outer end, a rotating seat is fixedly arranged at a rotational junction between the transmission worm and the inside of the conversion head body, annular worm teeth are fixedly arranged at the outer side of the transmission worm, a rotating shaft is rotatably arranged at one end inside the conversion head body away from the transmission worm, and the outer wall of the rotating shaft is fixedly connected with an intermediate gear.
TOOL BIT HAVING A BIMETAL TIP
A tool bit includes a drive portion configured to be selectively coupled to a tool and composed of a first material, a shank coupled to the drive portion ad being composed of the first material, and a working end portion configured to engage a fastener. The working end portion includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is coupled to the shank and composed of the first material. The second segment is fixed to the first segment at a connection interface and composed of a second material different than the first material. The second segment includes a first portion and a second portion. Solely the second portion engages the fastener when the tool bit drives the fastener.
Multi-purpose tool
The invention relates is a multi-purpose utility tool. More specifically, the present invention provides an attachable handle for gripping pots and pans used in outdoor cooking. The attachable handle can be configured to connect to a fuel canister and prepare the fuel canister for disposal or recycling. The attachable handle can have a puncture tool to pierce the fuel canister. The connection of the attachable handle to the fuel canister can aid in the evacuation of fuel from the canister.
