Shaft spring clutch apparatus
The Shaft Spring Cutch is an apparatus, used to drive fasteners, or the like, that is multi-directional, and non-ratcheting, comprised of two drive members, separated and held in an unengaged position by a return spring, that are axially retained within a guide housing. The first drive member is attached to a handle or input shaft. The second drive member is attached to a drive bit. When in an unengaged position, the handle, or input shaft, can rotate freely in either direction relative to the drive bit. The first and second drive members are engaged by applying axial force sufficient to overcome the return spring force, which locks the handle, or input shaft, and drive bit together. Once engaged, any rotational force applied to the handle, or input shaft, is transferred to the drive bit. Optionally, the apparatus may be locked together for continuous drive bit engagement using a locking mechanism and a fastener can be placed directly on the drive bit, then using a feature of the tool, the fastener can be spun by hand until set.
Screwdriver head and method for manufacturing the same
The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a screwdriver head, the screwdriver head including a head portion for being inserted into a slot of a screw head and a basal body for supporting the head portion; the manufacturing method including: providing the screwdriver head made of a first metal material; preparing alloying coating; coating the alloying coating on the surface of the head portion of the screwdriver head; conducting laser surface alloying treatment on the surface of the head portion coated with the alloying coating to form an alloyed layer; and conducting low temperature tempering treatment on the screwdriver head after the laser surface alloying treatment. The present invention further discloses a screwdriver head, the surface of the position at which the head portion of the screwdriver head contacts with the slot of the screw head is provided with an alloyed layer formed through the laser surface alloying treatment. The screwdriver head manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention has high rigidity and high abrasive resistance in the head portion and high tenacity in other portions, thereby prolonging the service life.
Impact wrench
An impact wrench includes a front housing and a motor. A transmission mechanism and an impact mechanism are disposed in the front housing. A transmission direction of a force outputted by the motor is changed via the transmission mechanism to drive a working member of the impact mechanism to rotate. A part of the working member is protruded and is exposed outside the front housing. The front housing includes a seat and a covering member which are detachably engaged. The detachable engagement between the seat and the covering member is convenient for a user to maintain an inside of the impact wrench.

Multipurpose hand tool
A multipurpose hand tool may include a body portion, and a first hex socket tool integrally formed with a first side of the body portion. The multipurpose hand tool may include a second hex socket tool integrally formed with a second side of the body portion that opposes the first side of the body portion, and a screwdriver tool integrally formed with a third side of the body portion. The multipurpose hand tool may include a wrench tool integrally formed with a fourth side of the body portion that opposes the third side of the body portion.
Boat propeller wrench with embedded metallic motor nut fastener
A boat motor propeller wrench with metallic motor nut fastener is described. The wrench includes a polymer handle including a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the second end including a tethering aperture. The wrench also includes a socket formed as one piece with the handle and extending from the first end of the handle substantially perpendicular thereto, the socket defining an aperture. The wrench further includes a metallic insert disposed within the aperture of the socket.
Ratchet, Ratchet Accessory, and Kit Including the Same
A tool kit is provided that includes a tool including a handle and a tool head and a set of tool accessories configured to be coupled to the tool head. The tool accessories each including a drive end that is configured to be coupled to the tool head and a working end opposite the drive end. The tool kit includes a container that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The container includes a first portion including a first retainer that supports the tool, a second portion and a middle portion dividing the first portion from the second portion. The middle portion including a second retainer that supports the tool accessories and the container is selectively stored in a closed position where the middle portion supports the container on a surface in an upright position.
IMPACT TOOL ANVIL WITH FRICTION RING
An impact tool includes a housing, a motor supported within the housing, an anvil extending from the housing, and a drive assembly configured to convert a continuous rotational input from the motor to intermittent applications of torque to the anvil. The anvil includes a body rotatable about a longitudinal axis, a driving end portion configured to receive a tool element over a distal end thereof, and a bore extending through the driving end portion of the anvil in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. The driving end portion includes a groove located between the bore and the distal end. The groove includes a curved portion converging toward the distal end and is configured to receive a friction ring such that the friction ring follows a contour of the groove.
DIRECTION-SWITCHING APPARATUS OF A RATCHET SCREWDRIVER
A ratchet screwdriver includes a direction-switching apparatus. The direction-switching apparatus includes a cylinder, a toothed wheel, two pawls, two springs and a connector. The cylinder includes a wheel-containing chamber in communication with two pawl-containing chambers. The toothed wheel is inserted in the wheel-containing chamber. The pawls are respectively inserted in the pawl-containing chambers. Each of the springs is connected to one of the pawls in one of the pawl-containing chambers. The connector interconnects the springs so that at least one of the springs keeps at least one of the pawls engaged with the toothed wheel to allow the cylinder to rotate the toothed wheel in at least one of two directions.
Well access tool
A tool for gaining lateral access to a well includes a head portion configured to advance axially forwardly relative to a lateral access passage. The tool includes a first shaft and a shaft assembly including a second shaft. The second shaft is at least partly received in the first shaft so as to be axially forwardly moveable therewith. In use, axial forward movement of the first and second shafts causes forward advancement of the head portion. The second shaft is axially forwardly moveable relative to the first shaft. The first shaft includes an internal thread and the shaft assembly includes an external thread engaging the internal thread of the first shaft so that relative rotation of the internal and external threads causes the axial forward movement of the second shaft relative to the first shaft without rotation of the second shaft relative to the first shaft.
