DRIVING MACHINE
There is provided a driving machine capable of reducing a load applied to a guide member in a direction of a center axis. The driving machine drives a fastener into a workpiece. The driving machine includes a movable piston, a driver blade operating together with the piston and applying driving force to the fastener, a cylinder guiding operation of the piston, a holder provided in a housing and supporting the cylinder, and a vibration damping rubber interposed between the holder and the housing and receiving a load applied to the holder in an operational direction of the piston.

TOOL WITH CHARGE ADVANCE MECHANISM
A powder actuated fastening tool including a charge advance apparatus for advancing a powder charge strip relative to a barrel of the tool, wherein the charge advance apparatus includes a rotatable ratchet having teeth for engaging receptacles formed in the powder charge strip, and a charge advance member coupled to a trigger of the tool, wherein the charge advance member acts on the rotatable ratchet to rotate the ratchet in response to actuation and/or release of the trigger, such that the rotation of the ratchet causes advance of the powder charge strip relative to the barrel.

Fastener carrier with depth limiter
A carrier with a fastener depth limiter. The carrier may be used to drive fasteners of a staple type. Carriers may include a fastener holder and a fastener depth limiter securable to the holder. The holder may include an axial body with distal and proximal ends, a fastener-receiving opening in the distal end normal to the axis, and an anvil-receiving opening in which an anvil repeatedly strikes a fastener held by the holder as the holder retracts during fastener driving. The fastener depth limiter may be a collar and the collar may be axially adjustable along the holder to enable user selection of the depth limitation. A workpiece-contacting distal end of a collar-type depth limiter may be spaced axially outward from the distal end of the holder a distance approximately the same as a thickness dimension of the fastener, which may be the thickness dimension of the crown of a staple-type fastener. The carrier enables consistent driving of each and every fastener relative to a cable or other workpiece thereby providing securement without damage that could be caused by excessive contact with the crown.
WORKING END FOR A NAIL DRIVING TOOL
There is provided a working end for a nail driving tool for use in installing a siding component having a nailing strip. The working end has a body with a front end, rear end, sidewall, and a nail aperture between the front end and the rear end. A first guide is formed by a recess in the front end and is configured to align the nail aperture with the nailing strip by engaging a surface of the siding component. A receptacle is formed in the rear end of the body and is configured to receive the nail driving tool. One or more protrusions on the front end are spaced from the nail aperture. The one or more protrusions are configured to engage the nailing strip and align the nail aperture with a nail-receiving aperture of the nailing strip.
Alignment head for automatic fastener feed installation tool
An alignment head for an automatic fastener feed installation tool employs a platform with spring biased retractable pins and a central opening. The retractable pins are spaced to protrude downwardly and engage opposing sides of a support joist. The central opening receives the fastener which is automatically positioned for driving at an entry position into a deck board overlying the joist. The fastener is drivable into the joist at a medial position of the joist and a pre-established position from the edge of a deckboard. The pins also define the spacing of the adjacent deck board. In one embodiment, the alignment head is employed for securing the deck boards at a consistent 45° angle to the joist.
DRIVING DEVICE
A driving device includes: a main body; a striking part movably supported by the main body; a handle protruding from the main body; and a nose part attached to the main body and holding a fastener before being hit by the striking part, the nose part movably accommodating the striking part and having an injection path for guiding the fastener and an injection port connecting with the injection path and firing the fastener, an opening extending from the injection port toward the handle being provided on a handle side of the injection path, and a width of the opening being larger than an outer diameter of a head of the fastener in a plan view perpendicular to a linear moving direction of the striking part.
