ARTICLE IN MOTION COMPRISING HYDROPHOBICALLY-COATED REGION
Articles having a hydrophobically-coated region and processes of using such articles are disclosed. The article includes a substrate material and a hydrophobically-coated region on the substrate material, the hydrophobically-coated region being contacted or configured for contact with a fluid. The hydrophobically-coated region is configured to repulse the fluid from the article while the article is moving through the fluid. The process includes using the article by moving the article through the fluid wherein the hydrophobically-coated region repulses the fluid from the article.
Ballyhoo/Bait Fish Trolling Hood
A hood like device designed to hold a bait fish while being pulled/trolled through the water imitating a swimming fish. The hood consisting of a weighted spoonbill at the front, attached to a cylinder shaped body in the center and a hallow cone shaped body with the large end facing the rear. An opening from the rear allows line to pass from the rear to the front. The hood is to keep the bait fish in a stable manor and swimming naturally. The line and hook which are separate are there to hold the bait fish in the hood and the hooks catch the fish.

Fishing Weight Design with Crushing Action
A crushable fishing weight can include a body fashioned from malleable metal having a plurality of channels. In at least some embodiments, the body is cylindrical and the channels run parallel to the longest axis of the cylindrical body. In some embodiments, a hanger apparatus with a hanger eye occupies one of the channels. A lure assembly can be affixed to the hanger, and incoming line to which the lure is to be attached is fed through the plurality of channels. When the weight is crushed, the friction from the channels against the line holds the line in place, thus affixing a weight and lure system to the incoming line without additional knots.
Fishing weight assembly
A fishing weight assembly includes a weight member and a support member. The weight member may include a proximal end, a distal end, and an aperture extending from and between the proximal and distal ends. The fishing weight support member may be disposed within the aperture and may include a base portion extending from the distal end of the fishing weight member, and an arm portion extending from the proximal end of the fishing weight member.

FISHING LURE HAVING A CURVED PLATE
A fishing lure, along with its methods of manufacture and use, is provided. The fishing lure may have a curved plate comprising a concave surface and a convex surface. A first attachment loop may be attached onto the concave surface, and a second attachment loop may be attached onto the convex surface. A lure body may be attached, directly or indirectly, to the connection ring.

TUNGSTEN FISHING SINKER AND METHOD THEREOF
A tungsten sinker formed of a flat unpainted outer body surface with an inner channel running from a first end to a second end, the tungsten sinker is unpainted, has a flat dark neural color, and includes a base stock of 97% pure tungsten.
FISHING SYSTEM
A fishing system is disclosed. In one aspect, the fishing system includes a first fishing line segment terminating with a hook and a second fishing line segment terminating with a sinker. An attachment point can also be provided, wherein a first eyelet of the attachment point is slidably arranged on the first fishing line segment and a second eyelet of the attachment point is attached to the second fishing line segment. The fishing system can also include an immovable stopper attached to the first fishing line segment and a rigid or non-collapsing flexible tube spaced between the hook and the immovable stopper. In one aspect, the hook, stopper, and tube can move distally away from the first eyelet. The fishing system can also include a spherical ball spacer situated between the stopper and the first eyelet.
