Edge-banding apparatus and method
An edge-banding apparatus is provided and configured to apply an edging strip having a heat activated layer to a substrate or work piece. The apparatus uses localized heat generated from a controlled flame from combustible fuel to apply heat to the edging strip to active the heat activated layer.
Method and apparatus for adhesive activation
The invention relates to a method and apparatus for activating an adhesive for composing veneers. A method for activating an adhesive for composing veneers according to an aspect of the invention comprises providing the adhesive on a surface of a veneer, and radiating the adhesive on the surface of the veneer. The method may comprise providing a reinforcing material on the adhesive; or providing an adhesive tape on the surface of the veneer, wherein the adhesive tape comprises adhesive coated or impregnated with a reinforcing material. The method may further comprise radiating the adhesive between the surface of the veneer and the reinforcing material.
BOARD EDGE CASTING PROCESS AND APPLICATION THEREOF
An edge-casting process for sheet materials according to the present invention includes the following steps: S1. grooving, that is to choose a suitable sheet material, and leave a processing margin on the peripheral edge of the sheet, material, so as to make a first groove; S2. casting or covering, that is to cast a high solid content coating material into said first groove and solidify it; S3. making a second groove on the back of said first groove of the sheet material, and casting a high solid content coating material into said second groove and solidify it; and S4. milling and chamfering, that is to chamfer the sheet material according to a required processing margin, then perform an edge-casting process. An objective of the present invention aims to simplify processes, improve production efficiency, upgrade edge banding performance, greatly enhance the waterproofness, super hardness, anti-friction, collision resistance and adhesion of sheet materials, and dramatically extend the service life of sheet materials, therefor we provide an edge-casting process for sheet materials and its application capable of producing cast edges of variously-shaped sheet materials and suitable for the production of diverse sheet materials.
PLYWOOD PANEL REPAIRING SOLUTION
The present invention relates to a system for repairing a plywood panel, the system comprising: at least one detection device for scanning the plywood panel; at least one repairing device for performing a repair operation for the plywood panel; a conveyor device for conveying the plywood panel; and a control device for generating at least one control signal to the conveyor device to halt the plywood panel in the system for performing a scanning operation of the plywood panel with the at least one detection device and to halt the plywood panel for performing a repairing operation with the at least one repairing device on the basis of information obtained with the detection device. Some aspects of the invention relate to a method for performing the repair operation.
PLYWOOD PANEL REPAIRING SOLUTION
The present invention relates to a system for repairing a plywood panel, the system comprising: at least one detection device for scanning the plywood panel; at least one repairing device for performing a repair operation for the plywood panel; a conveyor device for conveying the plywood panel; and a control device for generating at least one control signal to the conveyor device to halt the plywood panel in the system for performing a scanning operation of the plywood panel with the at least one detection device and to halt the plywood panel for performing a repairing operation with the at least one repairing device on the basis of information obtained with the detection device. Edge modification method and apparatus
An improved method of edge modification such as edge banding comprising placing a roller in contact with an edge and measuring a first position of the roller. Subsequently moving the contact roller along the edge to a second position and measuring the second position before calculating a desired force direction from the first and second position measurements, applying a force via the pressure roller in the desired force direction.

Disclosed is a method for preparing a hydrophilic writing sliced bamboo veneer, including, in sequence, the following steps: (1) processing a sliced bamboo veneer into thin bamboo sheets with a thickness of 0.2-0.6 mm; (2) selecting the thin bamboo sheets with less color difference and fewer processing defects, and rolling the selected thin bamboo sheets on a plane; (3) performing deburring, sanding, and surface polishing on the rolled thin bamboo sheets; (4) performing mildewproofing and mothproofing treatment on the thin bamboo sheets; (5) performing surface coating treatment on the thin bamboo sheets using a coating material; (6) drying the coated thin bamboo sheets at low temperature; (7) fine-polishing the dried thin bamboo sheets; (8) cutting the thin bamboo sheets; and (9) flattening, compacting, and piling the cut thin bamboo sheets for future use.
