ROTATABLE TOOL-ASSEMBLY FOR PROCESSING WOODEN PANELS AND THE LIKE
A rotatable tool-assembly for processing wooden panels and the like, of the type comprising at least a first and a second disc blades that are adapted to be fitted on a same spindle, one beside and coaxial with the other; said first and said second disc blades being both provided with a central discoidal body and a cutting toothed crown that comprises a plurality of protruding teeth at least one of which has the front edge covered by a cutting insert; the cutting toothed crown of the first disc blade being structured so as to be able to mesh in an angularly rigid manner with the cutting toothed crown of the second disc blade and vice versa.
Cutting tool
A wood or resin cutting tool with improved durability is provided. The wood or resin cutting tool is composed of a base material made of steel or a cemented carbide alloy, and a coating formed on at least one of the rake face and the clearance face of the cutting tool. The coating includes a periodic structure layer made of chromium oxynitride, in which high oxygen regions having a high concentration of oxygen in the texture and low oxygen regions having a lower concentration of oxygen in the texture than the high oxygen regions periodically exist in the thickness direction of the coating. The periodic structure layer is formed such that the nitrogen concentration periodically turns high and low in the thickness direction of the layer corresponding to the high oxygen regions and the low oxygen regions.

Cutting tool
The invention suppresses chipping of a cutting edge of a cutting tool while maintaining sharpness of the cutting edge. [Solution] A coating (20) of a replaceable knife (10) of the cutting tool is formed so that either one of a rake-face coating portion (22) that coats a rake face (14) or a clearance-face coating portion (24) that coats a clearance face (16) becomes thicker than the other. The film thickness of the thicker coating portion (22, 24) is set in a range of 0.5 m to 15.0 m, and a ratio of the film thickness of the thinner coating portion (24, 22) to the film thickness of the thicker coating portion (22, 24) is set in a range of 0.01 to 0.15.
Machining device
A device and a method for machining a workpiece are provided, wherein said workpiece includes segments of wood, wood-based materials, synthetic material or the like, having a first milling tool for contour machining an edge attached to said workpiece, a second milling tool for contour machining the edge attached to said workpiece, which is adjustable in relation to said first milling tool between a resting position, in which said first milling tool is engageable with the workpiece, and a machining position, in which said second milling tool is engageable with a workpiece. The device is characterized by a third milling tool for flush milling a narrow side of the edge attached to said workpiece, the three milling tools being arranged coaxially to each other and all are jointly drivable by one device.
MILLING CUTTER COMPRISING A CUTTING EDGE DISPOSED ON THE PERIPHERY
The invention relates to a milling cutter (1) comprising a substantially cylindrical tool body (2) and at least one peripheral cutting edge (3) protruding exclusively radially over the tool body (2), to which cutting edge a chip removal space (4) is assigned, wherein at least one section of the chip removal space (4), which is trough-shaped in particular, is provided behind the cutting edge (3), at least in the peripheral direction.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INSERTING A TONGUE
A method and device for inserting a tongue in an insertion groove in a panel. The method includes displacing a first tongue to an end position of a tongue queue, which comprises tongues under compression, in a tongue queue device, compressing the first tongue, displacing the tongues in the tongue queue by compression forces from the tongues under compression, displacing a second tongue, which is at a front position of the tongue queue, to an inserting device, displacing the second tongue into an insertion groove in a panel by said inserting device.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INSERTING A TONGUE
A method and device for managing and separating a tongue from a tongue blank, including cutting a first edge of a tongue from the tongue blank by rotating a tool which includes a protruding part, and displacing the tongue by the protruding part to a tongue queue. The method and device may include a second tool for cutting a second edge of the tongue from the tongue blank.
Blade for cutting roots
A blade assembly for cutting roots is installed on a hand-carried weed cutter or hand-carried side walk edger. The blade assembly has a central blade support that supports a central blade. A plurality of cutting blades are stacked on both sides of the central blade to form a stack of blades. The stack of blades is secured together by fasteners that pass through openings in the blades. The central blade and each of the plurality of cutting blades has a plurality of teeth. Outermost blades in the stack of blades are smaller in diameter than the blades directly adjacent to the outermost blades.
ROUTER BIT
A router bit for use with a turning implement comprising a router bit body having a shank body adjacent a cutting body for forming a key hole in a work piece. The shank body has an outer surface configured to be received by the turning implement. The cutting body has a body portion that spans between a tapered head portion and a tapered end portion, the tapered end portion attached to the shank body. The tapered head portion has a plunge cutting surface that forms a first acute angle with the longitudinal axis. The shank body has a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the tapered head portion. The tapered end portion has a diameter that varies along its length from the shank body to the tapered head portion to reduce breakage of the router bit body during use. A wing may be attached to the cutting body.
