CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM WITH CROSSED STRUCTURAL BOARDS
A construction system includes a set of constituent elements, at least one of which includes at least two superimposed folds each including at least two wooden structural boards. In this system, at least two constituent elements are fixed together by a non-adhesive fixing device and at least two adjacent folds are held against each other by non-adhesive holding device. The faces in contact with two structural boards are at least partially provided, at their contact interface, with a set of grooved patterns arranged so as to prevent the structural boards from sliding one relative to the other along at least one first immobilisation axis. A method for manufacturing such a construction system is also disclosed.
Board for Musical Instrument, and Stringed Instrument
The board for a musical instrument according to the present disclosure includes: a first base layer; and a pair of first reinforcement layers laminated on both face sides of the first base layer, in which the first reinforcement layers includes a fiber and a binder, and the fiber is a polyparaphenylenebenzobisoxazole fiber, a liquid crystal polyester fiber, an aramid fiber, a polyarylate fiber, an ultra high-molecular weight polyethylene fiber, a polyethylene naphthalate fiber or a glass fiber.
METHOD FOR MAKING MODULAR ARMREST
A method for making modular armrest includes the steps of providing at least fourteen blank wood pieces, arranging the blank wood pieces in juxtaposed relationship, bonding the arranged blank wood pieces to obtain a bonded blank assembly, and marking four sawlines to divide a front surface of the bonded blank assembly into five trapezoid zones, the middle tree of which has the same surface area. Among the three middle trapezoid zones, the inbetween is an inverted form of each of the flank ones such that the inbetween corresponds to a widthwise profile of the modular armrest while each of the flank ones corresponds to an inverted form of the widthwise profile.
Stacked rolling vehicle track
A roller coaster track may comprise a laminate and a metal bearing layer. A method of manufacturing a roller coaster track may comprise manufacturing a laminate, manufacturing a metal bearing layer, and assembling the laminate and bearing layer. The bearing layer may be at least partially filled with grout. A method of repairing a wood roller coaster track may comprise removing a layer of laminate, and replacing the layer with a metal bearing layer.

DEVICE FOR INSERTING A TONGUE
A device for inserting a tongue into an insertion groove in a panel including a first part including a supporting surface configured to cooperate with an upper surface of a panel. The device includes a second part, which is connected to the first part, including a guiding device for a displaceable puncher which is configured to displace a tongue into an insertion groove of a panel. The supporting surface is extending in a first direction and the guiding device is extending in second direction.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING WALL ELEMENTS FROM NAILABLE AND/OR STAPLEABLE MATERIALS
A process for manufacturing wall elements from nailable and/or stapleable materials, in which a wall element frame is positioned on a horizontal worktable. Wall panels are placed on the frame and the wall panels are fastened to the frame by nails and/or staples, which are driven by a compressed air setting device. A mobile robotin particular an autonomous mobile robothas a compressed air setting device and/or at least one milling unit and is movable on the surface formed by the wall panels. The robot motion is automatically controlled along the surface formed by the wall panels. At predetermined positions, the milling unit and/or the compressed air setting device is actuated to process the wall panels and/or to fasten them to the wall element frame.
ENGINEERED TIMBER PRODUCTS, COMPONENTS AND METHODOLOGIES
A method of drying sticks, a related apparatus, resultant product and its uses where the method involves presenting a plurality of sticks in parallel as a single layer, pressing each stick with a bank of pressing members on and/or into at least one face of the sticks, each with plurality of protuberances, thereby to constrain the sticks against crook, and drying the sticks when so constrained. Preferably each bank of pressing members is an underside of a frame or lattice of a stack of such frames or lattices able to receive such a single layer of sticks between adjacent overlying/underlying frames or lattices, the protuberances preferably being only downwardly directed.
Method of rejuvenating the interior of a toasted barrel
The interior or core of a toasted wine barrel is milled along the longitudinal grain to varied depths to increase the surface area of the core available to the wine and to present a gradient of the toast surface. The core is milled with a V-shaped corrugated pattern to create a reusable (potentially value-added) barrel. A box-shaped pattern milled into the core doubles the toast surface to expedite oak-wine interaction.
