Production method for fire resistant article
A method of forming an article is provided. Multi-fiber cellulose strips are interacted with a bonding agent and layered in a plurality of layers, the layered cellulose strips collectively defining opposed major surfaces. A porous sheet member, interacted with a fire-retarding solution, is engaged with one of the major surfaces of the layered cellulose strips, to substantially cover the major surface. The porous sheet member is disposed adjacent to a substantially smooth and uniform surface, and layered cellulose strips and the porous sheet member collectively exposed to an actuating element, configured to actuate the bonding agent to react in a volumetrically-expensive reaction with the fire-retarding solution to facilitate cohesion between the layered cellulose strips and the porous sheet member to form a board member, wherein the porous sheet member conforms to the adjacent surface via the volumetrically-expansive reaction to define a substantially smooth and uniform surface of the board member.
Wood fibre based panel with a surface layer
A building panel with a surface layer including a wood veneer, a wood fibre based core and a sub-layer between the surface layer and the core. The sub-layer includes wood fibres and a binder. The surface layer has surface portions including material from the sub-layer. The surface portions including material from the sub-layer extend into the wood veneer.
Composite wood panels with corrugated cores and method of manufacturing same
A composite wood panel is manufactured from thin wood laminae cut from wood unsuitable for peeler logs or dimensional lumber. A cold set adhesive is applied to the wood laminae and they are formed into a randomly oriented mat that is cold rolled into a thin, pliable cold rolled stock that can be corrugated. A hot set adhesive may also be applied to the laminae to improve strength of the composite wood panel. The hot set adhesive is set in a hot press after the cold rolled stock is produced.

FLOOR BOARD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH FLOOR BOARDS
A floor board including a decorative surface layer applied to a substrate, where the substrate has MDF or HDF material at a side edge thereof, where the side edge is treated both with an impregnation agent and/or a sealing agent based on a super absorbing material. Also, a method for manufacturing such floor boards.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FLOOR OR WALL PANEL
A method for making a floor or wall panel has a foamed polymer core. A foamable polymer powder is foamed between two conveyor belts in the forming zone of a steel belt press. The sum of the thicknesses of the two conveyor belts and the total thickness of the layers at the entrance of the steel belt press is less than or equal to the opening of the steel belt press at the entrance of the steel belt press. The sum of the thicknesses of the two conveyor belts and the total thickness of the substrate at the outlet of the steel belt press is equal to the opening of the steel belt press at the outlet of the steel belt press and greater than the sum of the thicknesses of the two conveyor belts and the total thickness of the layers at the entrance of the steel belt press.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A TIMBER COMPOSITE, THE TIMBER COMPOSITE OBTAINED AND DECORATIVE PANELS COMPRISING SUCH TIMBER COMPOSITE
A decorative panel including a substrate material and decorative top layer, wherein the decorative top layer includes at least one timber layer, wherein the timber layer is a compressed timber layer with a permanent increased density as compared to an original timber layer, wherein the decorative panel is a square or rectangular floor panel which, at, at least one pair of opposite edges, or at both pairs, includes mechanical coupling allowing to couple two of such floor panels to each other such that a locking is created in a vertical direction perpendicular to a plane of the coupled panels, as well as in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a coupled edge and in the plane of the coupled panels, the mechanical coupling being in the substrate material.
METHOD TO PRODUCE A VENEERED ELEMENT AND A VENEERED ELEMENT
A method to produce a veneered element, the method including applying a first layer on a substrate, applying a second layer on the first layer, applying a veneer layer on the second layer, pressing the first layer, the second layer and the veneer layer together to form a veneered element, wherein, after pressing, the second layer is transparent or translucent such that the first layer is visible through a crack, cavity, hole and/or knot of the veneer layer. Also, such a veneered element.
Method for producing a wooden composite material board, in particular an MDF or HDF board
The disclosure relates to a method for producing a wooden composite material board, in particular an MDF or HDF board, wherein a cake made of wood chips or wood fibres wetted with a binder is spread, which is subsequently pressed in a hot press to form a board of a desired thickness, wherein, before the pressing, a mixed powder made of colour pigments and a second binder is spread onto an upper side of the cake as a primer, wherein the cake is sprayed with water after the spreading of the mixed powder.
