METHOD FOR CREATING A PRECAST CONCRETE WALL WITH ADJUSTABLE CONCRETE FORM LINER CONNECTION
A liner for a form is provided. The form allows for the creation of a precast concrete wall to be formed. The liner allows a building material, for example, brick veneer, to be placed in the liner in a pattern. The pattern may be a soldier course that can formed over openings in the precast concrete wall. When liquid concrete is poured into the mold and then hardens, the concrete holds the building material in place in the pattern produced by the liner.
BUILDING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BUILDING MATERIAL
Provided is a building material that is lightweight, exhibits excellent formability, and is inhibited from being damaged during transportation, and a method for producing the same. Specifically, provided is a method for producing a building material, including: a first step of curing a core layer material including a hydraulic material, a silica-containing material, and an aluminum powder, to react the aluminum powder and form bubbles, and incompletely hardening the hydraulic material and the silica-containing material, to form a foamed core layer; a second step of dispersing a surface layer material including a hydraulic material, and a silica-containing material, to form an unfoamed surface layer; a third step of stacking the foamed core layer on the unfoamed surface layer, to form a stack including the unfoamed surface layer and the foamed core layer; and a fourth step of pressing and curing the stack, and a building material produced therewith.
System and method for making tied block mat with border
In an exemplary embodiment, a system for making tied block mat with a border includes a mold having an array of mold cavities; and a hopper that receives a hardenable paste and is spaced from the mold to receive a sheet of mesh material therebetween, the hopper having an opening for depositing the hardenable paste into selected mold cavities, the hopper forming a filling zone with the mold wherein the hardenable paste flows through the opening into the selected mold cavities, and a blocked zone where the hardenable paste is prevented from entering other selected mold cavities of the mold; whereby the tied block mat is formed wherein the hardenable paste in the selected mold cavities becomes embedded in the sheet of mesh material in the filling zone, and a border is formed in the blocked zone where the hardenable paste is blocked from entering the other selected mold cavities.
Manufactured retaining wall block with improved false joint
A retaining wall block having a false joint and a system of retaining wall blocks. The retaining wall block includes a body having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can have a depth divided by the width greater than two inches. The false joint can have an interior angle of less than ten degrees. The system includes a plurality of retaining wall blocks and a first course of retaining wall blocks engaged with a second course of retaining wall blocks below. Each block in the system comprising a front face having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can extend a predetermined depth of a third surface.

JEWEL, IN PARTICULAR FOR AN HOROLOGICAL MOVEMENT, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A method for manufacturing a jewel for a timepiece, the jewel including, for example, poly-ruby of the Al2O3Cr type or Zirconia of the ZrO2 type, including first producing a precursor and a then pressing the precursor in order to form a body, the pressing being carried out using a pressing device provided with an upper die and a lower die defining a pressing space wherein the precursor is disposed, the upper die including a concave portion of oblong shape, the device having a wire at least partially traversing the lower die to open into the pressing space, the lower die being able to slide around the wire, the pressing being carried out by bringing the lower die and the upper die closer together to form a body including an upper face provided with a dome and a lower face provided with a hole extending at least partially into the dome.
Tooling assembly having cam closing feature
Tooling assemblies and methods for using a tooling assembly to shape an article are provided. For example, a tooling assembly has a forward end and an aft end and comprises a first tool segment, a second tool segment, a forward cam portion near the forward end, and an aft cam portion near the aft end. The forward cam portion defines a follower surface, and at least a portion of the follower surface has a curvilinear profile. The aft cam portion defines a first surface extending at a first angle and a second surface extending at a second angle. The first and second tool segments define a cavity for shaping an article. An exemplary method comprises positioning an article preform within the cavity and inserting a fastener within the aft end of the tooling assembly until the fastener is fully inserted within the tooling assembly.

Prefabricated stairs modular assembly mold and assembling method thereof
A prefabricated stair modular assembly mold comprises a base, a step standard module, an upside module of a lower platform, an underside rotating module of a lower platform, an upside module of an upper platform, an underside rotating module of an upper platform, an underside common module, and an underside adjustment modules. Prefabricated stair molds of different dimensions are formed by means of locating holes provided in the assembling modules, and are then fixed by means of sliding holes at two ends. Further disclosed is a mounting method for said assembly mold. Said assembly mold has high positioning accuracy, and small accumulated error, improving the mounting efficiency of the prefabricated staircase mold.
Warning dome enhancing tool and method
Detectable warning areas (DWAs) and methods of forming the same are provided. A dome-forming material can be mixed with a catalyst to form a mixture, which can then be poured into a dome-shaped cavity of a die-cast mold. A peg may be inserted into the mixture in the dome-shaped cavity of the die-cast mold. The mixture may be allowed catalyze and harden in the dome-shaped cavity of the die-cast mold, then a molded dome may be removed from the dome-shaped cavity of the die-cast mold. A portion of the molded dome such as the peg may be inserted into a hole in a prepared substrate. The dome may also be prepared by grinding an outer top surface with a drilling attachment. The dome may instead be formed with the use of an insert and a mat template.
