Flow channel form design for manhole assemblies
11208816 · 2021-12-28 · ·

The present disclosure is generally directed to processes and apparatuses for use in forming one or more flow channels within a prefabricated manhole assembly. More specifically, an exemplary apparatus embodying various aspects of the disclosure may contain a rigid channel form with a closed top portion, a curved bottom portion, a first end, and a second end. The apparatus may also contain a bung(s) removably positioned into an exterior hole through a sidewall of the prefabricated manhole that may receive one end of the channel form, the bung(s) interior end may further have an open-ended U-shaped slot. A sliding wedge may be used to engaged/disengage the flow channel form.

METHOD OF MAKING MOLDED CONCRETE BLOCKS HAVING SIMULATED BRICK OR STONE OUTER SURFACES

A method of forming simulated stone or brick column or a retaining wall is made up of rows of masonry blocks of generally trapezoidal configuration arranged in end-to-end relation to one another in each row, each block including a recessed portion being aligned with one another in each row and each block having textured wall surfaces simulating the appearance of brick or stone along one or more wall surfaces arranged in different configurations without the necessity of interlocking the blocks together.

Mixture, a process and a mold for manufacturing recyclable and degradable articles
11192278 · 2021-12-07 · ·

The disclosed subject matter concerns earth based mixtures, methods of preparing mixtures, and a process of forming articles of manufacture, as well as a process of manufacturing articles in molds configured for compression molding of earth based mixtures in accordance with the disclosed subject matter, including mixtures containing one or more of, e.g., sand, silt, clay, minerals, or any combination thereof.

System and method of producing foamed cement in a laboratory environment

Systems and methods related to preparing foamed cement for laboratory analysis are provided. A prepared cement slurry is placed in a cement reservoir cell configured to pressurize the cement slurry contained within the cement reservoir cell to a capture pressure. After pressurization, the cement slurry and a compressed gas are introduced into a foam generator. Foamed cement generated in the foam generator is introduced from the tee into a foam capture cell where it can cure prior to analysis.

PRECAST CONCRETE PULLBOX WITH KNOCKOUT SECTION
20220168923 · 2022-06-02 ·

Pullboxes for enclosing utility components and methods of manufacturing the same are provided. In some embodiments, a pullbox has at least one knockout section that is an area of the sidewall of the pullbox that has a reduced thickness. Apertures to receive conduits through the knockout section can be created with far less effort that traditional pullboxes. The conduits allow various utility components to pass through the wall of the pullbox. In addition, the discrete knockout section preserves the structural integrity of the pullbox, and the knockout section can have features that promote certain actions during a molding process for manufacturing the pullbox. Additional features such as a reinforcement mesh embedded in the pullbox in a certain manner and location are also described herein.

POWDER DRY-PRESSING MOLDING DEVICE AND METHOD

The present invention relates to a powder dry-pressing molding device and method. The powder dry-pressing molding device includes a rack, the rack is provided with an first pressure mechanism, a workbench mechanism and a second pressure mechanism in sequence along an up-and-down direction, and one side of the workbench mechanism is provided with a scraping mechanism; the first pressure mechanism includes an upper slide block capable of moving up and down, and an upper punch is disposed at a bottom of the upper slide block; the workbench mechanism includes a middle mold seat, a workbench is fixed above the middle mold seat, a middle mold is disposed inside the middle mold seat, and a mandrel runs through the inside of the middle mold; the second pressure mechanism includes a lower slide block capable of moving up and down, a lower punch is fixed at the top end of the lower slide block, and the lower punch is capable of extending into a compacting space between the mandrel and the middle mold; and the scraping mechanism includes a pusher connected with a scraping driving mechanism and capable of moving along the workbench, the pusher is provided with a feeding channel capable of being communicated with the compacting space, and the feeding channel is capable of being communicated with a barrel disposed on the rack. The dry-pressing molding device of the present invention has a high degree of automation, can scrape the powder, and has a good processing effect.

Formliner for forming a pattern in curable material and method of use

Features for formliners to form a decorative pattern in a curable material and methods of using the same are disclosed. An improved formliner is disclosed with substantially seamlessly connecting components that reduces the need for using adhesives for interconnecting a plurality of formliners in a pattern. Further, the formliner is configured to reduce and/or substantially eliminate visible seams in order to create a more natural appearance in a finished product of the curable material.

TAPERED PLASTERBOARDS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THEM

Disclosed herein are plaster boards having a first surface and an opposing second surface, and a first edge and an opposing second edge that bound the first surface and the second surface. The first surface includes a first section and a second section, the first section being raised compared to the second section, the second section abutting the second edge. The second surface includes a first section and a second section that are separated by a boundary between the first edge and the second edge. The first section of the second surface is substantially parallel to the first section of the first surface. The second section of the second surface slopes toward the first surface from the boundary toward the second edge. Methods for making the plaster boards involve forming wet plaster material and drying the wet plaster material such that the wet plaster material hardens into a plasterboard.
