The sheet body is configured to assume a neutral configuration in which the first and second projections space the bridge portion and the adhesive or the adhesion member apart from the target site by an air gap, a depressed position during affixation of the first surface to the target site, and an adhesion configuration after affixation of the first surface to the target site.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CUSHION BODY WITH A CONCAVE-CONVEX STRUCTURE AND MOLD FOR MANUFACTURING CUSHION BODY WITH CONCAVE-CONVEX STRUCTURE

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a cushion body with a concave-convex structure and a mold for manufacturing the cushion body with the concave-convex structure. A first elastic sheet is pasted on a second elastic sheet. The first elastic sheet is a closed-hole elastic material. The second elastic sheet is an opened-hole elastic material. The first elastic sheet and the second elastic sheets are combined and heated. Finally, the first elastic sheet and the second elastic sheet that are heated are sucked using the mold under a negative pressure from one side of the second elastic sheet and cooled at the same time, so that the first elastic sheet and the second elastic sheet can be deformed using the concave-convex structure of the mold and cooled to be shaped, thereby obtaining the cushion body with the concave-convex structure.

Method and Apparatus for Making an Apertured Web

A disposable absorbent having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, is described herein. The topsheet has first and second webs where the second web forms a body-contacting surface of the disposable absorbent article and the first web is disposed between the second web and the absorbent core. The second web is hydrophobic compared to the first web. And, the second web is a nonwoven with a plurality of fibers having a diameter less than about 10 microns.

ULTRASONIC ROTARY MOLDING

The present disclosure describes an ultrasonic rotary molding system that is used to form edible compositions or food products as they move along a conveyor belt. The food products are formed by an ultrasonic rotary wheel that includes one or more cutting tools that cut, and perhaps three dimensionally mold, food product strips. The system may include a movable backing plate that is located below the point where the ultrasonic rotary wheel cuts the food product strips. The movable backing plate may be spring loaded and it may exert force upwards against the conveyor belt and in turn against the food product.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STRETCHING AND TAKING-AWAY POLYMER FILMS
20170361520 · 2017-12-21 ·

A film (50) processing apparatus (20) including a film stretching device (22) and a take-away device (24). The take-away device receives the film after the stretching device and transports the film along a conveying region in a direction of transport (X). The take-away device includes opposing, first and second conveyor assemblies. The first conveyor assembly has a continuous belt driving a plurality of discrete pads (180a, 180b). Each pad forms a contact face (194a, 194b) extending between leading (200b) and trailing edges (202a). The pads are configured and arranged such that the trailing edge (202a) of a first pad (180a) overlaps the leading edge (200b) of an immediately adjacent second pad (180b) as the first and second pads traverse the conveying region. The overlap is characterised by a line (322) perpendicular to the direction of transport passing at any given moment through the first and second pads. A shape of the contact face can define a major central axis that is non-perpendicular and non-parallel with the direction of transport. The invention also relates to a method of processing a film using such an apparatus.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INTEGRAL DOUBLE-WALLED CONTAINER STRUCTURES
20220379540 · 2022-12-01 ·

A method and apparatus for the formation of double-walled containers with the structure of two integrally connected and adjacent containers extending in the same direction with an air gap between them, stretch-blow moulded as single bodies out of thermoplastic material, and suitable for mass-production. A thermoplastic tubular blank is formed and then heat-conditioned. The heat-conditioned tubular blank is then mechanically stretched longitudinally and blow-formed outwards by gas pressure to conformingly and stretchingly assume the tubular blank to the shape of a first dual-container shaped mould cavity set in order to form a stretch-blow moulded first container integrally connected to a second container, with both containers extending in opposite directions. Next, additional heat-conditioning is applied to further heat-condition as necessary the stretch-blow moulded second container and if deemed an advantage, at least part of the first container. Then at least one profiled inversion piston shaped as a male mould member with an outer surface configuration that defines the inner surface configuration of the article being formed and a second container shaped mould cavity set with a single-container shaped configuration are provided along with one or more wall stability devices which are applied to at least part of the wall surface(s) of either or both of the two integrally connected stretch-blow moulded containers, such that the second smaller container side wall(s) are at least substantially not in contact with the second container shaped mould cavity set and may be inverted at least partially inside-out, while at the same time the second smaller container bottom wall at least substantially does not invert, in order for the second smaller container to become a substantially mirror-image inverted second smaller container extending in the same direction as, and interior to, the first container.
