Device for labelling containers
A container-labeling apparatus includes a label-strip feeder having a vacuum drum and a vacuum cylinder that has vacuum regions extending between different angular ranges. A first vacuum source provides the vacuum at the vacuum drum and a second vacuum source provides the vacuum at the vacuum cylinder. During operation, the vacuum regions provide different under-pressures.
Method for manufacturing a dental structure, dental structure obtained and dental assembly formed by a structure screwed on a dental implant
A method for manufacturing a dental structure, a dental structure and a dental assembly, formed by a structure screwed on a dental implant relates to a manufacturing method of a dental structure intended to be located and screwed on a previously osseointegrated dental implant, as well as to the structure obtained according to said method and to the dental assembly formed by said structure and implant.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR CASTING POLYMER PRODUCTS
In an example method of forming a waveguide part having a predetermined shape, a photocurable material is dispensed into a space between a first mold portion and a second mold portion opposite the first mold portion. A relative separation between a surface of the first mold portion with respect to a surface of the second mold portion opposing the surface of the first mold portion is adjusted to fill the space between the first and second mold portions. The photocurable material in the space is irradiated with radiation suitable for photocuring the photocurable material to form a cured waveguide film so that different portions of the cured waveguide film have different rigidity. The cured waveguide film is separated from the first and second mold portions. The waveguide part is singulated from the cured waveguide film. The waveguide part corresponds to portions of the cured waveguide film having a higher rigidity than other portions of the cured waveguide film.

Using image analysis to generate an automobile surface protecting device attached with an adhesive
A method and system for using image analysis to generate an automobile surface protecting device attached with an adhesive are provided. The method includes generating from a scanned three-dimensional image, using one or more image analysis applications, a protective film template for a vehicle panel based on the dimensions of the vehicle panel, a determined transition point, a determined termination point, and a plurality of relief cuts. Generating the protective film template includes converting a three-dimensional protective film template into a two-dimensional protective film template by flattening the protective film template. The method includes transferring the protective film template to the sheet of protective film. The sheet of protective film includes an adhesive and is used to modify an appearance of the vehicle panel by modifying how light reflects off scratches on the vehicle panel.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A MOLDED THERMOSET COMPOSITE PART FROM UNSATURATED RESIN PREPREG SCRAP
A process for preparing a composite part, the process comprising: recovering unsaturated resin prepreg scrap; combining the recovered unsaturated resin prepreg scrap with a second resinous thermosetting component; and co-molding the prepreg scrap and resinous thermosetting component together under a pressure of 25 to 4000 psi and at a temperature of 100-400° F.
Fiber-reinforced resin molding material and production method therefor
A fiber-reinforced resin molding material containing at least bundled aggregates [A] of discontinuous reinforcing fibers and a matrix resin [M], wherein each of the bundled aggregates [A] is obtained by cutting a partially-separated fiber bundle, prepared by forming separation treatment sections separated into a plurality of bundles and non-separation treatment sections alternately along a lengthwise direction of a fiber bundle including a plurality of single fibers, at an angle θ (0°<θ<90°) with respect to the lengthwise direction of the fiber bundle.
METHODS FOR FABRICATING SOLID LAMINATE STRINGERS ON A COMPOSITE PANEL
A method of fabricating a solid laminate stringer on a composite panel, including unspooling one or more composite layers onto the composite panel; compacting the one or more composite layers unspooled onto the composite panel; cutting the one or more composite layers unspooled onto the composite panel; and curing the one or more composite layers unspooled onto the composite panel, wherein the one or more composite layers are unspooled continuously along a length corresponding to a length of the solid laminate stringer.
Integrally Stiffened Bonded Panel with Vented Pockets and Methods of Manufacture
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed for the manufacture of composite components having incorporated reinforcing structures machined into composite material substrates, and composite components manufactured according to disclosed methods, and assemblies and larger structures comprising the composite material components.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPED ARTICLE AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPING APPARATUS
A method for producing a three-dimensional shaped article includes shaping a first portion constituting at least a part of the three-dimensional shaped article by ejecting a molten material according to shaping data generated based on a shape resulting from adding a cutting allowance for cutting processing to a target shape of the three-dimensional shaped article, performing the cutting processing for the first portion, obtaining a measured shape of the first portion by measuring a shape of the first portion, specifying an excess portion and a lacking portion of the first portion by comparing a shape of a portion corresponding to the first portion of the target shape with the measured shape, performing the cutting processing for the specified excess portion when the excess portion was specified, and ejecting the molten material so as to fill the specified lacking portion when the lacking portion was specified.
