Process for producing shaped film
The method of the present invention for producing a shaped film includes a step of arranging a thermoplastic resin film to divide a space into a first space located on one surface side of the film, and a second space located on the other surface side, a step of heating the thermoplastic resin film, a step of curving the thermoplastic resin film in one space by using a difference in pressure between the first space and the second space, a step of stopping the curving step of the thermoplastic resin film in a state where at least a convex curved surface of both surfaces of the film is exposed into the space, and a step of cooling the curved film.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FINISHED PART
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a finished part comprising: a step of placing a trimmed finishing shell inside a heated mold chosen from a first mold referred to as a female mold and a second mold referred to as a male mold in the form of a punch, a step of heating a structural part made of a composite material up to its melting point, a step of placing the structural part on the finishing shell, a step of shaping the structural part against the finishing shell by means of the male mold in the form of a punch cooperating with the female mold, such that the finishing shell is fixed to the structural part that was shaped to obtain the finished part.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MASTER BATCH AND A MOLDING COMPOUND HAVING IMPROVED PROPERTIES
A method for producing a master batch having improved properties is provided. The method relates to, in particular, a master batch containing a polycarbonate and a reinforcing filler, preferably selected from one or more members of the group including the members titanium dioxide (TiO.sub.2), talc (Mg.sub.3Si.sub.4O.sub.10(OH).sub.2), dolomite CaMg[CO.sub.3].sub.2, kaolinite Al.sub.4[(OH).sub.8|Si.sub.4O.sub.10] and wollastonite Ca.sub.3[Si.sub.3O.sub.9], preferably selected from one or more members of the group including the members titanium dioxide (TiO.sub.2) and talc (Mg.sub.3Si.sub.4O.sub.10(OH).sub.2). The content of the reinforcing filler is 30 to 70 wt. %, preferably 35 to 65 wt. %, particularly 40 to 60 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the molding compound. A method for producing a molding compound having improved properties is also provided.
RIGID CARRIER ASSEMBLIES WITH TACKY MEDIA MOLDED THEREON
Introduced here are carrier assemblies designed to address the limitations of conventional carrier trays. A carrier assembly can comprise a primary injection-molded component having a deck area for receiving semiconductor components and a secondary injection-molded component that is secured to the deck area of the primary injection-molded component. For example, the secondary injection-molded component may be overmolded on the deck area of the primary injection-molded component. The secondary injection-molded component may have a tacky upper surface that facilitates securement of the semiconductor components to the primary injection-molded component.
Method for manufacturing exterior housing and electronic device comprising same
An electronic device of the present invention comprises: an exterior housing including a first surface facing a first direction, and a second surface facing a second direction opposite to the first direction; a display of which at least a part is exposed through the first surface; and a polymer plate which forms at least a part of the second surface of the housing. The polymer plate comprises: at least one opaque layer; at least one polymer layer that is translucent or transparent and is disposed on the at least one opaque layer; and a coating layer that is disposed on the at least one polymer layer and has a hardness greater than or equal to a selected hardness. Each of the at least one opaque layer, the at least one polymer layer, and the coating layer may comprise a first surface, and a second surface extending from the first surface so that at least a part thereof is bent. Other embodiments are also possible.
Preform extended finish for processing light weight ecologically beneficial bottles
Disclosed are preforms which incorporate improvements in the region of the neck and upper segment of the body to allow the production of lightweight containers, such as bottles suitable for containing water or other beverages. In accordance with certain embodiments, the improvements include a thinner neck finish area than conventional bottles, where the thinner area is extended into the upper segment of the body portion below the support ring. Reducing the thickness in these areas of the bottle allows for less resin to be used in forming the preform and bottle.
