The present invention also pertains to a process for the manufacture of said insulation system and to uses of said insulation system in various applications including aircraft applications.
PACKING PRODUCT
A bulk packaging product is described herein. The packaging product includes: trilayered walls in the shape of a rectangular package that can contact a product; wherein the package includes 4 walls; a plurality of baffles attached to two adjacent walls within the package that help maintain the rectangular shape; a plurality of lifting loops attached to at least two corners of the package; and an opening to facilitate filling the package with product.
Storage vessel for compressed fluids
A vessel for storing pressurized gas. The storage vessel may be manufactured in a variety of predetermined shapes. Plural frame members are interconnected with each other, collectively forming a lattice frame. A network of internal supports is disposed within the interior of the lattice frame, the internal supports being made of a carbon-reinforced composite material. The storage vessel has an outer shell made up of layers of carbon-reinforced composite material sheets enveloping the exterior of the lattice frame.
Coating method
A method of coating an expandable item (10) such as a pressure vessel or process vessel used for instance in the off shore oil industry. A compressible flexible intermediate layer (14) is provided on the item (10), and a support member (18) is embedded in the intermediate layer (14). The support member (18) comprises an open framework base (20) and a plurality of projecting members upstanding therefrom and extending out of the intermediate layer (14) away from the item (10). A thermally insulating coating layer (12) is applied over the intermediate layer (14) such that the projecting members (22) extend into the coating layer (12), and are wholly located in the coating layer (12).
Honey impregnated composition dressing having super absorbency and intelligent management of wound exudate and method of making same
A super absorbent, honey-dosed foam/fiber composite, gap patterned wound dressing, comprising: a patterned foam/fiber composite structure having a gap patterned side and a non-gap patterned side, wherein the patterned side includes a pattern of foam/fiber gaps disposed between foam/fiber areas dosed with honey, where the pattern of foam/fiber gaps is formed by the honey-dosed areas, such that the patterned foam/fiber composite structure includes a layer of super absorbent material located substantially adjacent to the honey-dosed areas; and wherein a wound in contact with the gap patterned side discharges an exudate which substantially collects in the individual ones of the foam/fiber gaps causing honey in the individual ones of the honey-dosed areas to be substantially dispersed throughout a wound treatment zone and a portion of the exudate that is collected in the individual ones of the foam/fiber gaps is transferred to and collected in the super absorbent material.
MULTILAYER SHEET AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a multilayer sheet including an adhesive layer that includes an acid-modified polyolefin and a substrate layer that includes a polyphenylene ether, and having high interlayer peel strength. The multilayer sheet of the present invention includes: a substrate layer (A) that includes a polyphenylene ether, and an adhesive layer (B) that includes an acid-modified polyolefin, in which the multilayer sheet further includes, between the substrate layer (A) and the adhesive layer (B), a tie layer (C) that includes a styrene-diene block copolymer.
Article of footwear
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper secured to the sole structure. The upper includes a first portion forming the hindfoot section of the upper and a second portion forming the forefoot section of the upper. The first portion is a textile laminate including an inner layer facing the cavity, an outer layer forming an exterior of the shoe, and an intermediate layer disposed between inner and outer layers. The second portion is textile possessing a unitary knit construction.
DRY FIBROUS MATERIAL FOR SUBSEQUENT RESIN INFUSION
Disclosed herein is a dry, self-supporting fibrous material, the fibers of which have been treated with a binder composition. The fibrous material can be slit into tapes or tows that are suitable for use in an Automated Tape Laying (ATL) or Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) process. This fibrous material is suitable for forming preforms which are configured to receive a matrix resin by resin infusion in the manufacturing of structural composite parts.
ACOUSTIC PANELING
Systems and methods are provided for acoustic paneling. One embodiment is a method for fabricating an acoustic panel. The method includes receiving a sheet of thermoplastic paper, stamping/conforming the sheet into rows that each comprise a three dimensional shape, and transforming the sheet into a multi-celled core. Transforming the sheet includes identifying fold lines separating the rows, folding the sheet at the fold lines in a pleat fold, thereby uniting upper surfaces of adjacent rows and uniting lower surfaces of adjacent rows; and compressing the rows of the folded sheet together in the presence of heat, causing adjacent rows to fuse together into cells. The method further includes applying a backing sheet to the core, and applying a facesheet to a surface of the core that includes openings which direct a portion of airflow across the facesheet into the cells, resulting in acoustic control.
