Breathable sheet, laminate, and composite
The breathable sheet of the present invention is comprised of a 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer or a resin composition containing the 4-methyl-1-pentene-based polymer as a main component. In addition, the breathable sheet of the present invention is preferably selected from the group consisting of a net, a mesh, a non-woven fabric, a woven fabric, and a perforated sheet.
Continuous filament cellulose nonwoven made with multiple bonding techniques
This invention relates to a nonwoven material consisting of one or more layers of nonwoven webs of essentially continuous cellulosic filaments, characterized in that within each layer each of the three bonding mechanisms: a) hydrogen bonding, b) filament intermingling and c) merged filament bonding occur for bonding the essentially continuous cellulosic filaments. Further it relates to a process for the manufacture and to various uses of this material.
Dimensionally stable recyclable plastic package
Described herein is a sheet comprising: a multi-layer structure comprising: a plurality of layers including an uppermost layer and a lowermost layer, each of the plurality of layers having a molecular orientation that results in a stress value for each layer; wherein the stress value of at least two of the plurality of layers are non-zero and different from one another; and wherein the multi-layer structure has a net stress value that is less than the greater stress value of the plurality of layers.
POLYOLEFIN-BASED MULTILAYER ELASTIC FILMS
According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, a multilayer elastic film comprises a core layer, a first outer layer, and a second outer layer. The core layer comprises at least 75 wt % polyolefin elastomer such as an ethylene/alpha-olefin block copolymer or a propylene-based plastomer. The first outer layer and the second outer layer each comprise at least 75 wt % of an ethylene-based copolymer, wherein the ethylene-based copolymer is selected from the group consisting of: (I) greater than 50 wt % of ethylene, from 5 to 16 wt % of an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated C3-C8 carboxylic acid, and optionally, from 0.5 to 10 wt % of an alkyl acrylate; (II) from 86 to 95 wt % of ethylene, and from 5 to 14 wt % of an alkyl acrylate; and (III) combinations thereof.
SOFT TREATED TISSUE PRODUCT
The present invention provides multi-ply creped tissue products, and in particular embodiments creped wet-pressed tissue products, having substantially higher per-ply basis weights, such as from about 14.0 grams per square meter or greater. Despite having relatively high per-ply basis weights, the products are generally soft and flexible, such as having a softness value (measured as TS7) less than about 10.0 and a Stiffness Index less than about 20.0. While being soft and flexible, the tissue products are durable enough to withstand use, such as having a geometric mean tensile (GMT) greater than about 1,000 g/3″.
Garment incorporating aqueous polyurethane dispersions having altered stress profile
Articles, such as garments, including films comprising dried aqueous polyurethane dispersions are disclosed, whereby the garment has an altered stress which is exhibited during wear of the garment. The film may be bonded to the fabric of the article to provide a fabric or film laminate.
Patterned apertured webs
A patterned apertured web is disclosed. The patterned apertured web includes a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured web and a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured web. At least some land areas of the plurality of land areas surround at least some apertures of the plurality of apertures. The patterned apertured web has an Effective Open Area in the range of about 3% to about 30%, according to the Aperture Test herein. The plurality of apertures include a first set of apertures defining a first shape and a second set of apertures defining a second shape. The first shape is positioned within the second shape.
CD extensible nonwoven composite
A nonwoven composite that has a dimension in a machine direction and a cross-machine direction is provided. The composite comprises a nonwoven facing positioned adjacent to an elastic film. The nonwoven facing contains a spunbond web that is formed by necking a base spunbond web. The base spunbond web includes a plurality of fibers generally oriented in the machine direction and exhibiting a machine direction tensile strength and cross-machine direction tensile strength. The ratio of the machine direction tensile strength to the cross-machine direction tensile strength is about 4:1 or more.
NONWOVEN FABRIC LAYERED BODY, COVER SHEET, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A nonwoven fabric layered body includes, in the following order, a crimped surface layer including a crimped spunbond nonwoven fabric including a crimped fiber, a crimped intermediate layer including a crimped spunbond nonwoven fabric including a crimped fiber, and a non-crimped surface layer including a non-crimped spunbond nonwoven fabric including a non-crimped fiber, a linear mass density of the crimped fiber in the crimped surface layer is from 1.4 denier to 1.6 denier, and a linear mass density of the crimped fiber in the crimped intermediate layer is less than 1.4 denier.
SUN CARE COMPOSITIONS WITH UV REFLECTIVE PARTICLES
Described herein are sun care compositions, comprising UV reflective particles ground from an extruded film having a plurality of alternating layers of polycarbonate (PC) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), wherein each layer is less than 150 nm thick; and at least one of a cosmetically acceptable emollient, humectant, vitamin, moisturizer, conditioner, oil, silicone, suspending agent, surfactant, emulsifier, preservative, rheology modifier, pH adjustor, reducing agent, anti-oxidant, and/or foaming or de-foaming agent, and methods of making and using the sun care compositions.
