NOVEL PROBIOTIC BACTERIA AND METHODS TO CONTROL PATHOGENS IN AQUATIC ANIMALS
The invention is directed to novel probiotic bacterial strains that colonize animal tissues, and in particular the gastrointestinal (GI) tract of aquatic animals grown in aquaculture environments and may further be engineered to express and deliver interfering RNA molecules configured to downregulate expression of one or more pathogen, or endogenous host genes.
COMPOSITIONS FOR DISRUPTING BIOFILM FORMATION AND FOR TREATING BIOFILM-RELATED DISORDERS
The disclosure relates to thiosulfur containing compositions, in particular propyl-propane thiosulfonate (PTSO) and propyl-propane-thiosulfinate (PTS). Such compositions are useful for treating infection and reducing or degrading biofilms both in vivo and in vitro. In particular, such compositions are useful in the treatment of biofilm-related disorders, including but not limited to mastitis, digital dermatitis, and chronic wound infections.

METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF ATTAPULGITE-BASED PH-RESPONSIVE ANTIBACTERIAL MATERIAL
Disclosed is a method for preparing an attapulgite-based pH-responsive antibacterial material, including: directly spraying a natural aldehyde-based antibacterial agent onto an attapulgite powder under stirring, and constantly stirring the attapulgite powder for 20-30 min; grinding the attapulgite powder in a ball mill for 30-60 min to obtain a ground attapulgite powder; placing the ground attapulgite powder in a stirred tank, and spraying a chitosan-citric acid aqueous solution onto the ground attapulgite powder; after spraying, constantly stirring the ground attapulgite powder for 30-120 min; and finally drying the ground attapulgite powder to obtain a dried attapulgite powder, sieving the dried attapulgite powder to obtain a sieved attapulgite powder, and packaging the sieved attapulgite powder to obtain the antibacterial material.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE REMOVAL OF BIOFILMS
This disclosure provides isolated or recombinant polypeptides that are useful to vaccinate individuals suffering from chronic/recurrent biofilm disease or as a therapeutic for those with an existing infection. The individual's immune system will then naturally generate antibodies which prevent or clear these bacteria from the host by interfering with the construction and or maintenance of a functional protective biofilm. Alternatively, antibodies to the polypeptides can be administered to treat or prevent infection. Bacteria that cannot form functional biofilms are more readily cleared by the remainder of the host's immune system and/or traditional antibiotics.
COMPOSITION ENRICHED IN POLYPHENOLS AND FLAVONOIDS FOR USE AS BIOSTIMULANT AND ANTIMICROBIAL FOR AGRICULTURE APPLICATIONS
The present invention relates to compositions of natural origin for use in agricultural crops (vegetables and fruit trees), particularly for use in biostimulant formulations and/or with antimicrobial action, which allow crops to be protected from stress, improving the quality and yield of plants and/or their fruits.
The invention provides a biostimulant and/or antimicrobial composition comprising extracts made from plants that include berry leaves rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, and micronutrients. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the composition comprises extracts made from blueberry leaves. A process for making said composition is also provided.
