PAYMENT APPLICATION INITIATED GENERATION OF PAYMENT INSTRUMENTS
In some examples, a system and method for generating a payment instrument are described. The method includes receiving a unique signature that a recipient intends to associate with the payment instrument; verifying that the received feature meets an acceptability criterion; generating a representation of the received signature, wherein the representation is in a form capable of being physically associated with the payment instrument, and wherein association is established by embedding or exposing the representation on the payment instrument; and causing physical generation of the payment instrument having associated therewith the representation of the signature.
Method and installation for coating a body with formation of a structured surface
The present invention relates to a method for coating, optionally with specific colouring, an exposed surface of a body with simultaneous formation of a structured surface, including projecting formations, via a device for depositing one or more liquid substances in droplets, in particular by a jet, said method consisting, for each affected site (1) of the surface to be printed (1), of consecutively depositing at least two vertically adjacent layers (6, 6) of a first substance selected from the group made up of a size, a varnish, an adhesion or attachment agent and a coating agent, preferably white or transparent and at least one second substance such as a colouring substance or a mixture of colouring substances, each of the consecutive layers (6, 6) being formed by depositing droplets (4, 4; 5). The method is characterised in that it consists of consecutively depositing at least three vertically adjacent layers (6, 6) which are made up, alternatively, of a first substance and a second substance, each layer (6, 6) being made up of separate individual droplets (4, 4; 5), arranged in each layer according to a predetermined pattern.
Textile pretreatment for digital printing
The present teachings include a process, system and article for forming a printed image on a textile. In some embodiments, the process includes coating the textile with a layer of polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride cationic polymer and coating the textile with the layer of polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride cationic polymer with a layer of poly-4-styrene sulfonate anionic polymer. The process can further include applying an ink composition to the textile having the layer of polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride cationic polymer layer and the layer of poly-4-styrene sulfonate anionic polymer, forming an image.

Sensor-enabled activation of payment instruments
In some examples, a system and method for activating a payment instrument. The method includes leveraging an activation feature associated with a payment instrument. The representation, obtained by a sensor, of the activation feature is received by the payment processing system. The payment processing system compares the representation of the activation feature with stored activation features corresponding to a user associated with the payment instrument. If the representation matches a user-associated activation feature, the payment processing system activates the payment instrument, wherein activating further includes granting the recipient access to a predetermined amount of funds through the activated payment instrument.
Additive color printing using multiple color graphic layers
Methods and systems are provided for color printing. A three-dimensional object can be printed onto an article using the methods and systems. The three-dimensional object can include a lower color graphic layer printed onto an article, one or more transparent structural layers printed onto the lower color graphic layer, and an upper color graphic layer printed onto an uppermost layer of the one or more transparent structural layers. The upper color graphic layer and the lower color graphic layer collectively visually depict a color graphic image.
INKJET PRINTED LIVERY APPLICATION PROCESS
A method of treating a contoured surface with surface treatment layer includes applying a surface preparation layer along the contoured surface and applying a basecoat layer on top of the surface preparation layer. The method further includes stabilizing the basecoat layer to prepare a basecoat surface along the basecoat layer for one or more subsequent layers of the surface treatment coating and jetting a decorative livery layer along the contoured surface using one or more ink jet print heads. The method further includes applying an adhesion promoter on top of the decorative livery layer and stabilizing the adhesion promoter layer to produce a desired bonding surface along the adhesion promoter layer. Additionally, the method includes applying a clear coat layer to cover the underlying decorative livery layer, the basecoat layer and the surface preparation layer.
