STABLE OIL-IN-WATER MICROEMULSION COMPOSITIONS
A composition is disclosed that contains at least one of cedarwood oil, lemongrass oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, and sesame oil, and isopropyl alcohol, and water. Disclosed herein also includes a method of killing pests comprising applying to a surface in need thereof a composition containing at least one of cedarwood oil, lemongrass oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, and sesame oil, and isopropyl alcohol, and water.
BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS RTI545 COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE FOR BENEFITING PLANT GROWTH AND CONTROLLING PLANT PESTS
Compositions are provided that include a new Bacillus thuringiensis strain designated RTI545 for use in benefiting plant growth and controlling plant pests. In particular, the RTI545 strain is useful for controlling plant nematode, insect and fungal pests. The compositions include plant seeds coated with the RTI545 strain. The compositions can be applied alone or in combination with other microbial, biological, or chemical insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, bacteriocides, herbicides, plant extracts, plant growth regulators, or fertilizers. In one example, enhanced growth and insect control are provided by delivering at the time of planting a combination of a chemical insecticide such as bifenthrin and a liquid fertilizer to plants or seeds treated with RTI545.
Crystalline modification of fipronil
The present invention relates to a novel crystalline modification of fipronil, to a process for the preparation of the same, to pesticidal and parasiticidal mixtures and compositions comprising said crystalline modification and to their use for combating pests and parasites.
PESTICIDAL MIXTURE COMPRISING A CARBOXAMIDE COMPOUND AND A BIOPESTICIDE
The present invention relates to pesticidal mixtures comprising as active components at least one active compound selected from compounds of formula I, formula la, and mixtures thereof and at least one biopesticide II. Furthermore, the present invention relates to seed treatment compositions comprising said mixtures, to methods and uses comprising the application of these mixtures and to seeds comprising the mixtures of the invention or a seed treatment composition thereof.
OILY SUSPENSION COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
An oily suspension composition that can achieve improved long-term storage stability, improved water-dispersibility and suspensibility for use after dilution, and an improved pharmacological effect of a solid active ingredient, and includes a pulverized solid agrochemical active ingredient, and a provided method for efficiently producing such compositions. The oily suspension composition including a suspension including a pulverized active ingredient such as an agrochemical which is obtained by subjecting a solid active ingredient to wet grinding in water, an oily dispersion medium, and various emulsifiers and thickeners, and the like.
Metal oxide coating of water insoluble ingredients
The invention relates to process for coating a solid, water-insoluble particulate matter, with a metal oxide comprising: (a) contacting the solid water-insoluble particulate matter with a cationic additive in an aqueous medium to obtain a dispersion of said particulate matter having a positive zeta potential; (b) coating the solid water-insoluble particulate matter by precipitation of a metal oxide salt onto the surface of the particulate matter, forming a metal oxide layer thereon; and (c) aging said coating layer. The invention further relates to coated particulate matter obtained by the process and to compositions comprising solid, water-insoluble particulate matter, coated by a metal oxide layer, the particulate matter being a dermatological active agent or a pesticide. The invention additionally relates to methods of treating a surface condition in a subject using compositions comprising solid, water insoluble dermatologically active agent, coated by a metal oxide layer.
MIXTURES OF SABADILLA ALKALOIDS AND PYRETHRUM AND USES THEREOF
The present invention is directed to pesticidal mixtures comprising sabadilla alkaloids and pyrethrum esters and methods of controlling pests including insects and mites by application of pesticidal mixtures comprising sabadilla alkaloids and pyrethrum esters.
COMPOSITIONS FOR CONTROLLING ARTHROPODS
The present disclosure relates to pesticidal compositions and to methods for controlling pests, such as insects and other arthropods. More particularly, the disclosure relates to a pesticidal composition that leaves less residue on a treated surface, while providing efficacious control of arthropods, even on food, food contact surfaces, or surfaces adjacent to food contact surfaces. The pesticidal composition may comprise from about 4% to about 9%, by weight of the composition, of sodium lauryl sulfate, from about 0.3% to about 2%, by weight of the composition, of a first active ingredient, from about 3% to about 35%, by weight of the composition, of isopropyl alcohol, and from about 65% to about 85%, by weight of the composition, of water. The first active ingredient may be lemongrass oil. The pesticidal composition may have a pH of about 3.0 to about 9.0.
