Assembly and holder
An assembly (1) includes a laminate (2) in which tags (21) are laminated, and a support part (3) that supports the laminate (2). The support (part 3) includes a bottom surface part (31) and a folding back part (32) folded back from the bottom surface part (31). A reverse surface (2b) of the laminate (2) protrudes from the folding back part (32), and a part of the reverse surface (2b) is adhered to the folding back part (32) to be supported by the support part (3). A laminate adhesive part (7) to which a part of the reverse surface (2b) and the support part (3) are adhered is disposed in an overlapping region AR1 of the reverse surface (2b) and the folding back part (32) so as to be separated from at least a part of a peripheral edge E of the overlapping region AR1.
Reader and Page Guide
The present invention relates to a reading guide to help mark a place on a text or illustration of a page or sheet. The device features a plurality of pieces including two similar small size supporting pieces and a sliding bar. The sliding bar is releasably attached to the two supporting pieces that are positioned on top edge and bottom edge of a page. The sliding bar has an indicator allowing an individual to slide the indicator to a desired position on the page the reader is currently on.
Book holding assembly
A book holding assembly includes a tripod has a plurality of legs collapsibly disposed on a central pole of the tripod. A cup is coupled the central pole and the cup is directed upwardly on the central pole. A book holder is pivotally attached to the cup thereby facilitating the book holder to be positioned at a variety of orientations. The book holder is adjustable to grip a book thereby facilitating the book to be positioned in a preferred orientation for reading to facilitate a user to read the book in a hands-free manner. The book holder has a flexible page holder extending away from the book holder. The flexible page holder is bendable into a variety of shapes thereby facilitating each of the flexible page holder to be positioned against respective pages of the book for holding the respective pages in a reading position.

Book and method that indicates an open page
One embodiment is a book includes a plurality of pages, a plurality of magnets, and a sensor. The plurality of the magnets generate a combined magnetic field strength, which is variable depending on positions of the pages on which the magnets are disposed. The sensor senses the combined magnetic field strength and generates a varying signal based on a varying of the combined magnetic field strength when at least one page is moved. The varying signal indicates a position of at least one page in the book.
Method and Device to Help Struggling Readers on E-readers
The method consists of using a T-square shape device that slides up and down e-readers. It has a vision window that allows 1 line of text to be seen at a time. The key feature is the T-square shape that allows the vision window to always be parallel to the line of text. This device improves focus and concentration, decreases eye strain, and makes reading easier, especially for those who struggle with reading.
Reading Panel
A reading panel is disclosed. The reading panel is configured for holding a document having a plurality of lines of text or pattern and is configured for assisting a user to read the text or pattern provided on the document. The reading panel includes a flat sheet defining a pair of elongated openings extending in a lateral direction and arranged spaced apart and substantially parallel to each other. The reading panel also includes a strip separating the pair of elongated openings and adapted to slidably hold the document with the reading panel. The elongated openings together define a viewing window shaped and sized to facilitate a viewing and reading of one line of the plurality of lines to the user to enable a line by line reading of the document.
Systems and methods of demarking a last-read page and line of a bound publication
A demarker that in one form is substantially square. On one side of the demarker, a first indicia, such as a numeral “1” is placed in one corner. A second indicia, such as a numeral “2”, is placed in a diagonally opposite corner of the same side. The opposite side of the demarker does not include the first or second indicia in the corners. The demarker is then used to mark the last-read line on the last read page of a book by placing the demarker with the first and second indicia face-up on the opposite page of the last-read page. Further, for a single column books, the first indicia is aligned with the last-read line. For two-column books, the first indicia is aligned with the last-read line if the last-read line is in the first column. However, the second indicia is aligned with the last-read line if the last-read line is in the second column.
BENDING SYSTEM, ENGRAVE SYSTEM AND VALUE DOCUMENT MANUFACTURING DEVICE
A bending system for separating a page from a cover of a value document, wherein the page is connected to a spine of the cover, the spine separating the cover in first and second cover potions, wherein an angle γ is formed between the first and second cover portions. The bending system includes a bending unit connected to a motor, wherein the motor is configured to operate the bending unit such that the bending unit bends the value document to a first state, where γ is larger than 180°, and then back to a second state, where γ is at least 180° but less than γ in the first state, to separate the page from the cover. Also disclosed is an engraving system for engraving a front side and backside of a page of the value document and a document manufacturing device including the bending system and engraving system.
Visual aiding organizational notebook and performance-based reward system and method for students
A system of notebooks that are color-coded to relate to a particular class or subject. For example, a green notebook could relate to a Science class, a red notebook could relate to Math, etc. The notebooks are fashioned to employ different calligraphy. The system further includes control articles such as an agenda to track student progress using indicia and give rewards to the student for achieving predetermined milestones. The indicia correlates sections in the control article (agenda) with the notebooks or other items. Said indicia visually aids students, parents and teachers to track the student's progress and creating a habit of having an organized schedule for school.
