Hub and wheel
A hub and a wheel having such a hub are provided. The hub includes a hub shell and an axle to rotatably receive the hub shell. The hub shell is provided with circumferential hub flanges serving for accommodation and defined orientation of a plurality of spokes. Each of the spokes has a spoke body and a spoke head. The hub flanges include a plurality of accommodation sections receiving a spoke head each. Each of the accommodation sections has one spoke feed-through assigned to it through which an accommodated spoke can be guided out of the accommodation section. The hub flange includes two different types of accommodation sections. A first type includes a circumferentially closed spoke feed-through and a second type, a circumferentially opened spoke feed-through.
Wheel fairing reducing vehicle drag
A minimal fairing apparatus minimally shielding the faster-moving drag-sensitive uppermost wheel surfaces from headwinds reduces overall vehicle drag. The apparatus includes various upper wheel fairings of

Axle and bearing for conveyor chain link
The invention relates to an axle and bearing for a conveyor chain link, such as those used in commercial bakery equipment. The conveyor chain link generally includes at least one roller bearing wheel with a central hole, an axle pin, and a link component with a bore. The axle pin is configured to extend through the hole in the roller bearing wheel and the bore in the link component to attach the at least one roller bearing wheel to the link component. The axle pin includes a medial portion having at least one surface engagement feature configured for anti-spin engagement with the link component. The roller bearing wheel includes at least one engagement feature for anti-spin engagement with the distal end of the axle pin.
System and method for a practical synthetic fiber tension member to rod connection
A method and system for creating a hybrid tensile member combining a synthetic fiber cable and a rigid rod. An anchor is attached to one or more ends of the synthetic cable. The anchor is used to connect an end of the fiber cable to a length of conventional rod, preferably through the use of a swaging operation. Each rod segment includes a standard end feature on its free endsuch as a threaded shaft or J-bend. The hybrid assembly can preferably be retrofitted to applications that now use a conventional rod.
Tire inflation device
An air deflector that is at least partially disposable within a tubeless tire of a bicycle wheel includes a body. The body includes at least one wall defining an air input end and an air output end of the body. The body is attachable to a valve of the tubeless tire at the air input end, such that when air is introduced into the body via the valve, at least some of the air is deflectable by one or more walls of the at least one wall out of the body at the air output end.
WHEEL FOR A BICYCLE AND BICYCLE EQUIPPED THEREWITH
Wheel for a bicycle, particularly a balance bicycle, the wheel is provided with integrated lighting and an integrated electromagnetic power source which provides the lighting with power as soon as the wheel is driven when riding the bicycle.
Structure Staggered Wheels
This embodiment of the present invention provides for a structure staggered set of four car wheels which achieves greater physical performance of the wheels of one axle by integrating additional structures. These structures would mainly be added to the face of the two wheels of a given axle. Further the structures may be added without largely departing from the stylistic arrangement of spokes found on the two wheels of another axle.

Bicycle hub and spoke arrangement
A bicycle hub and spoke arrangement is provided. The bicycle hub and spoke arrangement includes a bicycle axle supported for rotation by a hub shaft. A plurality of flanges extend radially from the hub shaft. Each of the plurality of flanges has a plurality of apertures. A plurality of spokes, each having a first end, an opposing second end and a body extending therebetween. The second end of each of the plurality of spokes is connected to an outer rim. The first end of each of the plurality of spokes is connected to one of the plurality of circumferentially oriented apertures of the plurality of flanges in a manner such as to create three areas of contact between the first end of each of the plurality of spokes and the associated flange, thereby strengthening a J bend area of the spoke and address spoke failure and shimmy.
