Shielded vent plug for wheel end hubcaps
A plug for a hubcap includes a base configured to fit into and obstruct a port of a hubcap. The base at least partially defines a cavity therein. The plug also includes a cap extending radially outward from the base. The cap defines an opening therein, the opening extending at least partially radially, and a passage extending axially between the opening and the cavity. The opening is in fluid communication with the cavity via the passage.
Surface feature transfer media and methods of use
Forming features in the surface of a bicycle component involves depositing a substance onto a substrate in a geometric pattern to form a transfer medium. Forming features may also involve positioning the transfer medium relative to an unformed bicycle component, and forming a negative of the geometric pattern in the bicycle component through the application of heat and/or pressure to the transfer medium and the unformed bicycle component. The transfer medium may be configured for use in the molding of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (“CFRP”) bicycle components and may include a substrate formed of a flexible material, and a geometric pattern formed of a hard material, the hard material different than the flexible material.
Wheel hub assembly for vehicles
A wheel hub assembly assembly having a central axis (X) and covers therefore. An outer ring provided with a tubular mounting portion, and a cover having a keying portion which is inserted inside the tubular mounting portion. The cover is made of plastic material, the keying portion comprises an annular seat made of plastic and a sealing element made of rubbery elastic material. The sealing element is defined by a solid of rotation mounted inside the annular seat over a whole of an axial length of the annular seat so as to project radially outside of the annular seat to make contact with the tubular mounting portion of the outer ring thereby sealingly closing the wheel hub assembly.
Wheel assemblies for model vehicles
A wheel assembly for a model vehicle is provided. The wheel assembly may include a wheel base configured for mounting an R/C vehicle tire and a colored trim piece provided on a facing surface of the wheel base. In addition, the wheel assembly may include a wheel face configured to allow portions of the colored trim piece to be visible when the wheel face is attached to the wheel base. The wheel assembly may also include a hub cap assembly that comprises a hub cap and a retainer. Wherein the hub cap assembly is removably secured against the wheel base via the retainer.
NON-ROTATION AD HOC DISPLAY ASSEMBLY FOR WHEEL OF VEHICLE
Provided is a non-rotational advertisement member assembly for being mounted on a wheel of a vehicle which includes: a connecting body mediating coupling to a wheel of a vehicle, and rotated interlocked using the rotation axis of the wheel as a coaxial axis; a transparent housing forming a predetermined floating space between itself and the connecting body as well as rotated interlocked with the connecting body by being coupled to the connecting body so as to completely seal the gap between the predetermined floating space and an external space; and an advertisement member floating part having a center of gravity formed relatively lower in the predetermined floating space, and rotated relatively to the transparent housing and the connecting body which are rotated interlocked with the wheel while being coupled so as to avoid rotation and movement while maintaining the center of gravity.
Hubcap for heavy-duty vehicles
A hubcap for a heavy-duty duty vehicle that includes mounting structure that is formed with and cooperates with a side wall of the hubcap to provide a stiff, rigid structure that enables non-cantilevered connection to a wheel hub. The mounting structure can be a plurality of elongated bosses circumferentially spaced about the side wall that are formed with corresponding elongated bolt openings to enable the non-cantilevered attachment to the wheel hub. The elongated bosses cooperate with the hubcap side wall to provide a stiffened or rigid structure between the elongated bolt openings for increased and more uniform clamping force on a sealing gasket between the hubcap and the wheel hub. The hubcap profile provides clearance for removal of an outboard mounted disc brake rotor in heavy-duty vehicle wheel end assemblies that include such rotor configurations. The hubcap may support simple mounting of a hub odometer.
Vibration absorber for vehicle wheels
A vibration absorber for vehicle wheels is capable of absorbing and attenuating vibration of a vehicle wheel and of increasing a vibration absorption capability of the wheel without changing the external appearance and design of the wheel. The vibration absorber includes a vibration absorption unit mounted on a back surface of a center cap of the vehicle wheel to absorb a first vibration in an axial direction of the wheel transmitted through the center cap.
WHEEL CAP
A wheel cap includes a cap body having a wheel side face and another face serving as a styling face on an opposite side from the wheel side face; a first engagement leg provided standing out from the wheel side face and configured to be inserted into a through hole of the wheel, with the first engagement leg abutting a first attachment portion of a peripheral edge of the through hole at a first angle with respect to an insertion direction; and a second engagement leg provided standing out from the wheel side face as a pair with the first engagement leg and configured to be inserted into the through hole of the wheel, with the second engagement leg abutting a second attachment portion at the peripheral edge of the through hole at a second angle with respect to the insertion direction, the second angle being greater than the first angle
FLOATING CENTERCAP FOR VEHICLE
A floating centercap assembly for a vehicle includes a cap and a counterweight affixed to the cap. A cup is included having a central bearing affixed to the cap wherein the counterweight travels rotationally within a sidewall of the cup. One of a retainer clip and a bracket affixes the cup to the vehicle wheel cover or axle.
Multi-position center cap
The present disclosure pertains to a two piece center cap design which can be securably affixed to a wheel in a manner that does not require the center cap to be removed when installing and removing the wheels from a vehicle. This is achieved by rotating the center cap from a first position covering the lug nuts, to a second position, which does not cover the lug nuts, thereby providing access to the wheel lugs to allow the wheel to be installed and removed.
