Tire having a radiofrequency transponder
A tire having a transponder comprises: a crown which has a crown reinforcement with an axial end at each edge, joined at each of its axial ends to a bead, which has an inner end, by a sidewall; a carcass reinforcement which is formed of adjacent first wires and is anchored in each bead around a spiral formed by second wires; the transponder comprising a core defining a first axis, a first cover wire helically wound around the core and an electrical insulation device; and the first cover wire comprising at least two conductive wire elements galvanically connected to an electronic chip comprising a radiofrequency transceiver component. The thickness of the elastomer mixture separating the outer cover wire, which is located furthest outwards from the first axis, and the reinforcements is greater than 0.5 millimeter.
RUN-FLAT RADIAL TIRE
A run-flat radial tire is provided that has a tire cross-section height of 115 mm or greater includes a carcass spanning between a pair of bead portions, a side reinforcing rubber layer that is provided to a tire side portion and that extends in a tire radial direction along an inner face of the carcass, and at least one inclined belt layer that is provided at a tire radial direction outside of the carcass and includes cord extending in a direction inclined with respect to a tire circumferential direction. At least at one end portion side in the tire axial direction of a maximum width inclined belt layer having the largest width in the tire axial direction, the maximum width inclined belt layer and the side reinforcing rubber layer have an overlap width in the tire axial direction of 22.5% or greater of the tire cross-section height.
BALANCED NON-DEFLATABLE VEHICLE TIRE
A balanced non-deflatable vehicle tire providing balanced operation even after partial puncture, adjustment of overall air pressure, use of standard rimmed wheels, and the option of being retrofit into existing tires, by providing alternating layers of puncture-resistant sheet material and pressurized-cell sheets, and an inner-tube to fill the remaining internal space and to adjust and apply balanced pressure internally.
RUN-FLAT RADIAL TIRE
A tire includes a carcass, side-reinforcing rubber, a belt layer, and a tread. The belt layer includes at least two layers and is provided at a tire radial direction outer side of the carcass, each layer including a cord inclined with respect to a tire circumferential direction such that the cords of the belt layers intersect each other. The tread is provided at the tire radial direction outer side of the belt layer. A tire cross-section height SH satisfies SH145 mm, and a ground contact width TW of the tread and a maximum tire width direction width of the belt layer satisfies TW<B. Moreover, an angle formed between a tire outer face and the tire width direction at a position at 0.8 SH toward the tire radial direction outer side of a bead base portion of either of the bead portions is no less than 60.
Pneumatic tire
The present technology provides a pneumatic tire having a mechanical fastener member for attaching an object with specific functionality to an inner surface of the pneumatic tire, particularly, a pneumatic tire such that, as the pneumatic tire rolls, the object with the specific function attached by the mechanical fastener member can be effectively prevented from executing rotating motion about the mechanical fastener member as a rotation central axis. The pneumatic tire of the present technology has a first member of a mechanical fastener separable into two members, disposed on the tire inner surface. On the tire inner surface around the mechanical fastener member, a recessed flat surface region is formed as a recessed portion having a step from peripheral portions of the recessed portion.

Motorcycle tire for uneven terrain
[Object] A motorcycle tire, for an uneven terrain, which exhibits both impact absorption and handling stability is provided. [Solution] A tire 2 includes a pair of rubber reinforcing layers 14 disposed inward of a carcass 10 near ends, respectively, of a tread surface 16. A profile of the tread surface 16 is formed by: an arc C1 that is disposed at a center, and that projects outward in a radial direction; and a pair of arcs C2 each of which is disposed outward of the arc C1 in an axial direction and each of which projects outward in the radial direction. The arc C1 contacts with the arcs C2. A radius R1 of curvature of the arc C1 is less than a radius R2 of curvature of each arc C2. Outer ends 40 of the rubber reinforcing layers 14 are disposed outward of ends TE of the tread surface 16 in the radial direction. Inner ends 42 of the rubber reinforcing layers 14 are disposed inward of the ends TE of the tread surface 16 in the radial direction. The rubber reinforcing layers 14 are not disposed on an equator plane.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle (10, 100) with a chassis (20, 120), a plurality of wheels (12, 14, 16, 18) with pneumatic tyres (14a) and an on-board compressed air system (40, 140) for supplying pneumatic operating devices of motor vehicle (10, 100), includes at least one brake circuit (44) and/or one air suspension system (46), an emergency system (60, 160) for temporary pressurisation of the tyres in the event of a flat tyre, including compressed air connections (62, 64, 66, 68; 162, 164, 166, 168) installed permanently on the motor vehicle, each one having a flexible compressed air hose (70) for connection with a tyre valve (14b) and may be stored entirely in the motor vehicle (10, 100) and extracted from it in the event of a flat tyre, and which is supplied by the on-board compressed air system (40, 140).
Methods for treating inner liner surface, inner liners resulting therefrom and tires containing such inner liners
Methods for treating the surface of a cured inner liner are disclosed. By use of these methods a treated, cured inner liner is produced which has a lower surface with increased adherability to other materials (e.g., adhesives). Treated, cured inner liners resulting from such methods as well as tires containing the treated inner liners.
