The tread 7, the sole 11 and the two sidewalls 13, 15 together form a casing 17 defining a chamber 19 inside the pneumatic tire 1. At least one of the sidewalls 13, 15 comprises, in this order and in succession in a direction oriented radially from the axis of revolution XX to the outside, a proximal portion 131, an intermediate portion 133 and a distal portion 135. In the unloaded state, the intermediate portion 133 projects into the chamber 19 in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of revolution XX.
VEHICULAR COOLING DEVICE
A vehicular cooling device includes an opening, a discharge port, an air channel, and a fan. The opening is formed in a surface parallel to a travelling direction of a vehicle. The discharge port is formed in a surface of the housing and connected to the opening via the air channel. The fan is provided inside the air channel. First blockers are spaced apart in the travelling direction in the opening. Each first blocker extends in a direction perpendicular to both the travelling direction and an inflow direction of the outside air, and includes first and second members. The first member is a plate-like member having a main surface intersecting the travelling direction. The first member and the second member are symmetric with respect to a plane perpendicular to the travelling direction, and have a travelling-direction spacing therebetween that increases along the inflow direction of the outside air.
RUN FLAT TIRE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A run flat tire 1 comprises a carcass 6 formed of a carcass ply 6A extending between a pair of bead portions 4 in a toroidal manner and a side reinforcing rubber layer 9 having a substantially crescent cross-sectional shape disposed on an inner side of the carcass at each of sidewall portions. steel cords 60 each including 1 to 4 filaments 61 having a strand diameter in a range of from 0.25 to 0.30 mm are arranged in the carcass ply 6A, and an outer diameter D of each of the steel cords 60 is not less than 0.62 mm.
TIRE WITH PRE-STRESSED TOROIDAL ELEMENT
A non-pneumatic tire has a crown region and a pair of sidewall regions, including a first sidewall region and a second sidewall region. The non-pneumatic tire includes a pair of beads, including a first bead and a second bead, and a toroidal element. The toroidal element includes an inner region, an outer region, and a central region. At least a portion of the central region is more elastic than the inner and outer regions. The toroidal element includes a crown portion extending across the crown region of the non-pneumatic tire, a first sidewall portion extending along at least a portion of the first sidewall region of the non-pneumatic tire, and a second sidewall portion extending along at least a portion of the second sidewall region of the non-pneumatic tire. The toroidal element is pre-stressed such that when the non-pneumatic tire is mounted to a rim, the first sidewall portion of the toroidal element exerts a first axially outward force of at least 1000 pounds against the rim, and such that the second sidewall portion of the toroidal element exerts a second axially outward force of at least 1000 pounds against the rim.
ZERO-PRESSURE TIRE
A pneumatic radial tire includes a carcass structure having a pair of sidewalls and a crown, a pair of beads, a tread, a belt structure, and a plurality of reinforcing hoops. The plurality of spaced apart reinforcing hoops are disposed intermediate the crown of the carcass structure and the tread, and are formed of a rigid material coated in an elastomeric material. The plurality of reinforcing hoops includes a pair of outer reinforcing hoops disposed adjacent the sidewalls of the carcass, and an at least one inner reinforcing hoop disposed between the outer reinforcing hoops.
Run-flat tire
A tire includes: bead cores; a carcass; a bead filler that extends along an outer face of the carcass from the bead core toward a tire radial direction outer side; and side reinforcing rubber that is provided at a tire side portion, that extends in the tire radial direction along an inner face of the carcass, that decreases in thickness on progression toward the bead core side and toward a tread portion side, that has an end portion at the bead core side that overlaps with bead filler with the carcass sandwiched therebetween, and that has an elongation at break of 130% or above, wherein a thickness of the side reinforcing rubber at a midpoint between an end portion at the tire radial direction outer side of the bead filler running along the carcass, and the end portion is 40% to 80% of a maximum thickness.
Side-reinforced run-flat tire
Provided is a side-reinforced run-flat tire including a tread portion, a pair of sidewall portions extending on both sides of the tread portion, and reinforcing rubber provided in the sidewall portions, the side-reinforced run-flat tire further including: short fibers bonded, via an adhesive layer, to at least a portion of a region of a tire inner surface that is located in each of side portions, wherein the adhesive layer has a heatproof temperature of from 50 to 100 C.
Run-flat tire
A run-flat tire ensures run-flat durability with a reduced weight. A tire radial outermost carcass ply of two or more carcass plies has tire widthwise inner ends in a crown portion. A bead filler and side reinforcing rubber have an overlapping part in the tire width direction. In a cross section of the run-flat tire in the tire width direction in a state where the run-flat tire is attached to an applicable rim, filled to a specified internal pressure, and placed under no load, a thickness d1 of a sidewall portion at a midpoint in the tire radial direction between a maximum width position of the run-flat tire and a tire radial outermost position of a bead core is greater than a thickness d2 of the sidewall portion at a midpoint in the tire radial direction between the maximum width position of the run-flat tire and a tread edge.

Tire inflation and sealing system
A device for inflating and sealing an inflatable object comprising an air-tight tube, at least one hermetic connector reversibly coupled to either end or both ends of said air-tight tube and a source of pressure connected to either one end, second end or said at least one hermetic connector. The airtight tube serves as both storage means and transfer means for a sealing agent. The device allows transfer of said sealant agent in a largely laminar flow, aiding solid and semi-solid materials in said sealant agent to align in the direction of said flow and pass securely throw the valve mechanism without clogging. The inflatable object may be inflated and sealed without removal of the valve mechanism of said inflatable object and may be charged with pressurized gas and sealant agent contemporaneously.
