Motor vehicle comprising a compressor assembly
A motor vehicle with a compressor assembly for the supply of a pressure medium to a tire cavity of a tire of a motor vehicle. The compressor assembly has a compression chamber which is rotationally fixed in relation to the motor vehicle wheel, and the compression chamber and the tire cavity are connected via a fluidic connection for the conveying of a pressure medium from the compression chamber into the tire cavity. A tire sealing device has a sealant reservoir with a first connection fluidically connected to a tire cavity of a tire of the motor vehicle to be repaired, and a second connection fluidically connected to a pressure medium source secured to the motor vehicle. The sealant is conveyed out of the pressure medium source into the tire cavity of the tire to be repaired by means of the pressure medium.
CONTROL UNIT AND A METHOD FOR DETERMINING A VALUE INDICATIVE OF A LOAD BEARING CAPABILITY OF A GROUND SEGMENT SUPPORTING A VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a control unit for determining a value indicative of a load bearing capability of a ground segment supporting a vehicle. The control unit is configured to issue a control signal to the vehicle to thereby impart a motion change of the vehicle, and receive response information from the vehicle indicative of the vehicle's response to the imparted motion change. The control unit is further configured to, based on the response information, determine a vertical position change of at least one wheel of the vehicle, and based on the determined vertical position change and the imparted motion change, determine the value indicative of the load bearing capability of the ground segment.
AGRICULTURAL MACHINE, AND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AGRICULTURAL MACHINE
An agricultural machine includes one or more tires, a detector to detect a low pressure state in which a pressure of one of the tires is lower than a reference range or a high pressure state in which the tire pressure is higher than the reference range, and a controller to control an operation of at least one of the agricultural machine and an additional agricultural machine to be linked to the agricultural machine. One of the agricultural machine and the additional agricultural machine is a work vehicle that is capable of self-driving, and the other one is an implement to be linked to the work vehicle. The controller causes, in response to detection of the low or high pressure state, at least one of the agricultural machines to perform a specific operation that is different from an operation to be performed when the pressure is in the reference range.

The present document relates to a control device for a central tire inflation system, comprising: an inlet for connection with a pressure source, at least a first outlet for connection with a first pneumatic tire, a supply valve, at least a first channel valve, and at least a first pressure-limiting valve, wherein the supply valve and the first channel valve selectively fluidly connect the inlet to the first outlet and are fluidly connected in series between the inlet and the first outlet, and wherein the first pressure-limiting valve a is fluidly connected to the first outlet for limiting a pressure at the first outlet. The present document further relates to a tire inflation system including said control device, and to methods of operating said control device.

A rotary union is configured for removable disposition into the central bore of a hubcap through an orifice in the outboard face of the hubcap. The hubcap includes a fluid channel extending from the central bore to the exterior of the hubcap. The rotary union includes a port through which fluid may flow into the fluid channel when the rotary union is disposed in the central bore.
TIRE INFLATION OPTIMISATION
A tire inflation optimization apparatus configured to determine an optimum inflation pressure for a tire installed on an aircraft is disclosed. The apparatus includes a memory and a controller. The memory stores information relating tire gas properties to aircraft schedule parameters and a reference pressure for the tire. The controller is configured to receive future schedule information indicative of a future flight schedule for the aircraft and to determine an optimum inflation pressure for the tire based on the received future schedule information, the stored information relating tire gas properties to aircraft schedule parameters, and the stored reference pressure.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING AIRCRAFT TIRE PRESSURE
An apparatus for determining tire pressure of an aircraft tire. The apparatus includes a processing system configured to: obtain a first set and a second set of tire measurement data for an aircraft, wherein the first set is from a start of a flight cycle and the second set is from a time before the first set; and determine a steady state tire pressure based on the first and second sets of measurement data.
Pneumatically controllable valve assembly, tire inflation system, and methods of operating the valve assembly and the tire inflation system
A pneumatically controllable valve assembly, in particular for use in a tire inflation system, includes a first fluid port, a second fluid port, and a movable member configured to be moved between an open position and a closed position. When the movable member is in the open position the first fluid port is in fluid communication with the second fluid port. When the movable member is in the closed position the first fluid port is fluidly isolated from the second fluid port. A first pneumatic actuator is in fluid communication with the first fluid port. The first pneumatic actuator is configured to bias the movable member toward the open position. A second pneumatic actuator is configured to bias the movable member toward the closed position. The valve assembly also includes a flow restrictor. The first fluid port is in fluid communication with the second pneumatic actuator by way of the flow restrictor, at least when the movable member is in the open position.

Methods and apparatus for determining whether a vehicle tyre pressure check has been carried out, comprising: receiving from a pressure reader module a request for tyre pressure data indicative of a the pressure of a gas retained within a pneumatic tyre; storing, by a pressure check register, data indicating that the request for tyre pressure data was received; transmitting, by a transmitter to an apparatus, an indication confirming whether a tyre pressure check has been carried out based on whether the request for tyre pressure data was received; receiving, at the apparatus from a plurality of tyre pressure sensing modules, a plurality of indications of whether a tyre pressure reader has been used on each of the plurality of tyre pressure sensing modules to check a corresponding tyre pressure; and determining, by a pressure check confirmer, whether a vehicle tyre pressure check has been carried out based on the received plurality of indications.
