VEHICLE SUSPENSION SPRING DEVICE AND VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
Disclosed are a vehicle suspension spring device and a vehicle suspension system having the same. The vehicle suspension spring device includes a leaf spring unit comprising at least one leaf spring disposed in a lateral direction of a vehicle, a pair of first coupling parts provided at opposite ends of the leaf spring unit in a longitudinal direction and rotatably coupled to a pair of axles on which opposite wheels of the vehicle are mounted, and a pair of second coupling parts provided at two points between the opposite ends of the leaf spring unit in the longitudinal direction to be rotatably coupled to a subframe of the vehicle.
Bush
A bush including an inner cylinder, an outer cylinder arranged radially outside the inner cylinder, and an elastic body connecting the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, where a rubber portion 13 is provided with a bore (low-rigidity portion) 14 that extends a predetermined length in a circumferential direction and lowers rigidity in a radial direction, a convex portion 11a that projects from the inner cylinder 11 to the outer cylinder 12 is provided at a circumferential position corresponding to the bore 14 of the inner cylinder 11, and the convex portion 11a is arranged to be shifted to one side in the circumferential direction with respect to a circumferential center of the bore 14.
Load member for small overlap frontal impact
A structural arrangement for a vehicle includes a vehicle frame including a first frame member and a second frame member coupled to the first frame member. The vehicle frame extends along a vehicle body axis. The vehicle frame includes a suspension component including a control arm, a bushing, a bolt coupling the suspension component to the second frame member, and a load member coupled to the first frame member at a first attachment point and coupled to the second frame member at a second attachment point. The load member extends generally longitudinally along the vehicle body axis. The suspension component is coupled to the second frame member at the second attachment point and is detachable from the second frame member upon application of a load to the vehicle due to an impact event.
Compact control arm and suspension cylinder pivot
A work vehicle includes a chassis, a prime mover configured to move the chassis along a ground surface, and a suspension assembly that couples a wheel to the chassis. The suspension assembly includes a knuckle coupled to the wheel, a first suspension arm, and a suspension cylinder. The first suspension arm includes a first portion rotatably coupled to the chassis and a second portion extending away from the first portion and coupled to the knuckle. The suspension cylinder is rotatably coupled to the chassis and to a second suspension arm. The first suspension arm and the suspension cylinder are each configured to pivot relative to the chassis about a common pivot axis.
Seal having undulating seal component and systems, assemblies, and methods thereof
A sealing comprises a seal portion and a plate portion fixed to the seal portion. The seal portion can have an undulating configuration of at least one peak and at least one valley, and the plate portion can circumferentially surround the seal portion. The seal portion can be made of a first material and the plate portion can be made of a second material more rigid than the first material. The seal portion can have a radially inward facing contact surface that defines a central opening of the sealing.
LINK ARM MEMBER
A link arm member of the present invention is used in a vehicle for connecting a suspension and a stabilizer, and includes: a support bar that is sealed by plastically deforming a hollow metal pipe at both ends thereof; and a housing part made of resin that is arranged at each end of the support bar and has a receiving hole for receiving a ball part of a ball stud to which the suspension or the stabilizer is fixed, wherein the housing part is formed by insert molding with the support bar.
STRUCTURAL COMPONENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A structural component for a motor vehicle, with a component body (2) made from a sheet, which includes at least one shell-shaped body portion (3) formed from the sheet and at least one receiving bush (6) formed from the sheet that extends along its circumference between first and second circumferential ends (4, 5), which at the first circumferential end (4) merges into the shell-shaped body portion (3) and at the second circumferential end (5) merges into a strengthening strip (7) formed from the sheet and attached to the shell-shaped body portion (3). The strengthening strip (7) completes the shell-shaped body portion (3) to form an at least partially closed hollow section (8).
JOINT
A joint realizing higher rigidity without increasing the wall thickness provided with a base part 12, a pair of side parts 14, 14 extending from the two end parts of the base part 12 in the first direction D1 to the same side in the second direction D2 vertical to the first direction D1, the pair of side parts 14, 14 being formed with fastening holes 14H at the center in a third direction D3 vertical to both the first direction D1 and second direction D2, and a closed part 16 formed between the pair of side parts 14, 14 as an extended region of the base part 12 and pair of side parts 14, 14 at least at one end in the third direction D3.
SUSPENSION SYSTEMS, WHEEL SPINDLE ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS OF RETROFITTING WHEEL SPINDLES
A method of mounting to an A-arm suspension system a wheel spindle configured for use with a multi-link suspension system may involve the steps of: Removing at least one suspension link mount on the wheel spindle; mounting a ball joint bracket to the wheel spindle, the ball joint bracket being configured to mount to the A-arm suspension system, the removing and mounting steps producing a modified wheel spindle; and mounting the modified wheel spindle to the A-arm suspension system.
VEHICLE
A suspension assembly for a vehicle includes a lower alignment arm, an upper alignment arm, and a linear force element. The lower alignment arm includes a first portion, second portion, a third portion, and a linear force element mount. The linear force element mount includes a bearing for pivotably coupling the linear force element to the lower alignment arm.
