VEHICLE AIR FEEDING SYSTEM AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
A vehicle air feeding system for introducing air with smell associated with a component of a vehicle powertrain into a vehicle passenger compartment. The air feeding system includes an air inlet located adjacent the component of the powertrain, an air outlet located in the vehicle passenger compartment, and an air duct arrangement providing a flow path from the air inlet to the air outlet and configured for guiding air with smell associated with the component of the vehicle powertrain from the air inlet to the air outlet.
Air Diffuser
Disclosed is a system for diffusing oil. In one embodiment, the disclosed system features an essential oil or aromatic substance diffuser, aroma pads, and a convenient packaging.
Ozone generating device, air conditioning device, and vehicle
An ozone generating device including an excimer lamp having an arc tube containing a luminescent gas, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The arc tube has a first end portion and a second end portion, a first diameter-reduced portion provided continuously from the first end portion, a diameter of which decreases as a distance from the first end portion increases, and a second diameter-reduced portion provided continuously from the second end portion, a diameter of which decreases as a distance from the second end portion increases, the first electrode is provided for an outer periphery surface of the first end portion, the second electrode is provided for an outer periphery surface of the second end portion, the arc tube is fixed via the cylindrical portion, and the first electrode is not provided over the first diameter-reduced portion, and/or the second electrode is not provided over the second diameter-reduced portion.
Olfactory communication system for generating aroma-based notifications
An olfactory communication system for generating aroma-based notifications to one or more occupants of a vehicle includes an aroma diffuser that emits aromas into an interior cabin of the vehicle and a controller in electronic communication with the aroma diffuser. The one or more controllers execute instructions to receive a message indicating a specific event is occurring, where the specific event is an occurrence that the one or more occupants experience while in the interior cabin of the vehicle. In response to receiving the message, the one or more controllers determine a customized aroma based on the specific event, where the customized aroma creates an odor that informs the one or more occupants of the specific event. The one or more controllers instruct the aroma diffuser to emit the customized aroma into the interior cabin of the vehicle.
Indoor air cleaning device for vehicle using non-thermal plasma and an operation method thereof
Provided is an indoor air cleaning device for a vehicle using a nonthermal plasma and an operation method thereof, and more particularly, to an indoor air cleaning device for a vehicle using a nonthermal plasma, in which ozone is generated by a nonthermal plasma through corona discharge and an air purifying filter is sterilized through strong oxidization action of ozone, achieving more hygienic and continuous management, static electricity of an electrostatic filter is recharged with the controlled magnitude of applied voltage to maintain the best purification performance of the filter, and negative ions beneficial for human body are generated, creating pleasant indoor air conditions.
Air treatment method
A built-in apparatus and method for treating air including a housing with an air inlet and an air outlet. An air mover positioned near the air outlet is configured to draw the air through the air inlet. The housing encloses an air treatment zone, such as including an oxidizing zone, and an ozone removal zone positioned downstream of the air treatment zone and oxidizing zone. The air treatment zone includes UV light and/or ozone that partially oxidizes the chemical contaminants in the air treatment zone. A catalyst in the oxidizing zone oxidizes elements within the air treatment zone. The ozone removal zone includes a second, different catalyst material. A UV bulb that may or may not generate ozone is positioned within or downstream of the first and/or second catalyst materials to assist catalyst oxidation and/or self-clean the apparatus.
RECOMMENDATION AND SELECTION OF PERSONALIZED OUTPUT ACTIONS IN A VEHICLE
The present embodiments relate to selection and execution of one or more output actions relating to a modification of at least one feature of a vehicle. A series of sensors on a vehicle can acquire data that can be used to identify vehicle environment characteristics indicative of a status of a vehicle environment and an emotional state of the user. The vehicle environment characteristics and the emotional state can be processed using a user model that corresponds to a user to generate one or more selected output actions. The output actions can be executed on the vehicle to increase user experience. The output actions can relate to any of entertainment features, safety features, and/or comfort features of the vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS USEFUL FOR AIR TREATMENT IN A VEHICLE
Described are vehicles having viral inactivation and/or air filtration systems, kits and methods for retrofitting vehicles for viral inactivation and/or filtration of air within a passenger compartment of the vehicles, and methods for viral inactivation and/or filtration of air within passenger compartments of vehicles. The vehicles can be mass transit vehicles such as busses and the viral inactivation and/or filtration systems can include viral inactivation elements such as UV lamps and/or electrostatic filtration apparatuses mounted within a housing or frame mounted or mountable to a wall of the vehicles.
AIR STERILIZATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE
A system and method for retrofitting a vehicle with a UV light air sterilization system is installed by forming one or more openings in the ventilation system and sealingly securing UV LED light source units in each of the openings in an air-tight connection so that air does not escape the ventilation system through said openings. The UV lights are connected electrically with the electrical system of the vehicle and that illuminates them at a frequency and intensity of UVC light with germicidal or bactericidal effect on air in their location. A switch or relay switches the electrical current on and supplies electrical current to the UV light sources when manually activated by a user of the vehicle, responsive to electrical power being supplied to the fan device, or responsive to a sensor detecting airflow in the ventilation system.
