A retaining element for a side window of a vehicle, includes a first securing section and a first contact section connected thereto for securing to a first surface of the side window, a second securing section and a second contact section connected thereto for securing to a second surface of the side window, wherein the first and second securing sections are connected to one another opposite the contact sections via a hinge section such that the first securing section together with the first contact section and the second securing section together with the second contact section is pivotable relative to one another, whereby the retaining element is openable and closable. In the closed state, the securing sections are in surface contact with one another and, together, are suitable for securing to the vehicle and the contact sections are suitable for securing to two opposing surfaces of the side window.

An attach and release system for securing a windshield to a pillar includes an extrusion that is securable to the windshield adjacent the pillar. The extrusion has a connection tab and a seal tab. A bulb seal is connected to the seal tab, and a clamp includes a pillar section securable to the pillar and a connector section securable to the connection tab. The system and method facilitate windshield installation and removal and are suited for a utility task/terrain vehicle (UTV) as part of its rollover protection structure (ROPS).

The perforated screen may be made from plastic, metal, and/or glass, and may be flexible or rigid. For example, the perforated screen may provide structure support to the vehicle. Each of the perforated vehicle screens may be formed in any shape and size to match a vehicle's specific dimensions based on make and model. WINDOW GLASS STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

A window glass structure according to one aspect of the present invention includes a window glass for a vehicle that has a surface provided with a conductive layer having a predetermined pattern, and a connection terminal that is soldered to the conductive layer. The connection terminal includes a first joining portion that is joined to the conductive layer by soldering using a lead-free solder, a first side plate that is linked to the first joining portion and extends in a direction of separation from the surface of the window glass, a second joining portion that is joined to the conductive layer by soldering using a lead-free solder, a second side plate that is linked to the second joining portion and extends in a direction of separation from the surface of the window glass, a bridge portion that extends so as to link the two side plates, and a terminal portion configured to be linked to the bridge portion so as to have a face that is oriented in a direction different from directions in which faces of the two side plates and the bridge portion are oriented, at a position separated from regions to which the first side plate and the second side plate are linked.
