Glass support member

A glass support member is provided for fixing a glass plate to a body flange of a vehicle. The glass support member includes a base having a first surface and a second surface that face each other, a column that protrudes from the second surface of the base in a direction away from the base, and an inclined member that is arranged at a tip of the column and extends from the tip of the column toward the second surface of the base at an inclination angle with respect to an axis of the column. The tip of the column is configured to be capable of swaying with respect to the axis of the column within a plane including the axis.

LAMINATED GLASS

The present invention provides a laminated glass to be used in a windshield of an automobile, and the laminated glass includes: an outer glass sheet; an inner glass sheet arranged opposite to the outer glass sheet, the inner glass sheet having a smaller thickness than that of the outer glass sheet; and an interlayer sandwiched between the outer glass sheet and the inner glass sheet. The interlayer includes at least a core layer and a pair of outer layers between which the core layer is sandwiched, the outer layers having a higher rigidity than that of the core layer. An attachment angle to the vertical with respect to the automobile is 45 degrees or more. The core layer has a Young's modulus of 1 to 25 MPa at a frequency of 100 Hz and a temperature of 20° C.

The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention has a two or more-layer structure, has a thickness of one end thinner than a thickness of the other end at the opposite side of the one end and includes a first layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a second layer containing a thermoplastic resin, the difference between the maximum thickness and the minimum thickness in the first layer is smaller than the difference between the maximum thickness and the minimum thickness in the second layer, and the first layer contains a heat shielding compound.

The joint portion between the pillar upper portion and the pillar lower portion includes an outer joint portion positioned on the vehicle width direction outer side, and an inner joint portion positioned on a vehicle width direction inner side. A height of the outer joint portion and a height of the inner joint portion are different.

IMAGING SYSTEM

An imaging system mounted on a vehicle is proposed. The imaging system includes: an imager configured to capture an image of the outside of a vehicle through a glass of the vehicle; a heater configured to heat at least an imaging region of a windshield included in an imaging range of the imager; an image processer configured to detect a fogging level of an image captured by the imager; and a controller configured to adjust the output of the heater based on a detected fogging level and allow the heater to heat the imaging region of the windshield.

INTERIOR BODY PANEL FIT AND FINISH TABS AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND USE THEREOF

Interior panel and body assembly features for vehicles that include the placement of panel tabs on vehicle interior panels, with the panel tabs on the interior panels having features for interactive attachment of the interior panels with vehicle body portions via corresponding body tabs on each vehicle body portion. The interactive attachment aspects of the panel tabs operating with the body tabs may further assist in properly locating each interior panel relative to a vehicle body portions. When the interior panel is installed on the vehicle body, each panel tab attaches the interior panel to the corresponding body portion via a body tab, so as to enhance the strength of the attachment, such as at an edge location where standard attachment clips cannot be used, thereby improving positioning and good fit and finish, while maximizing interior space capacity.
