The present disclosure relates to an improved anti-reflective architectural or automotive glass. The glass may include a porous, nano-structured anti-reflective coating on at least one side of a glass product, including tempered or laminated glass. The porous, nano-structured anti-reflective coating may include pores increasing in size from a base layer at a glass substrate towards a porous surface. The porous, nano-structured anti-reflective coating, in some embodiments, may be on both surfaces of a glass product. Alternative embodiments include a painted surface on a second side of the glass product to provide an improved aesthetic glass design.

HEAT-RAY SHIELDING FILM, HEAT-RAY SHIELDING TRANSPARENT LAMINATED BASE MATERIAL, AND AUTOMOBILE MOUNTED WITH THE HEAT-RAY SHIELDING TRANSPARENT LAMINATED BASE MATERIAL AS WINDOW MATERIAL, AND BUILDING USING THE HEAT-RAY SHIELDING TRANSPARENT LAMINATED BASE MATERIAL AS WINDOW MATERIAL

There is provided a heat-ray shielding film mainly composed of polyvinyl acetal resin and capable of exhibiting excellent heat shielding properties, and a heat-ray shielding transparent laminated base material using the heat-ray shielding film, the heat-ray shielding film including: a compound having a heat-ray shielding function; a selective wavelength absorbing material; polyvinyl acetal resin, and a plasticizer; wherein the selective wavelength absorbing material has a transmittance profile in which a transmittance of a light having a wavelength of 550 nm is 90% or more, and a transmittance of a light having a wavelength of 450 nm is 40% or less.

VEHICLE INTEGRATED RAIN GUARD
20200231027 · 2020-07-23 ·

A retractable visor/rain guard system for a vehicle, for being selectively deployed to cover an upper region of a vehicle window of the vehicle. The visor system includes at least one extendable and retractable panel that is movable into or out of a channel formed in a roof section of the vehicle. It also includes a moving mechanism that engages the at least one panel and drives the at least one panel in and out from the channel in a direction and with such orientation, that the at least one panel moves initially horizontally and then at least partially over a window frame of a door of the vehicle when the door is in a closed position such that the at least one panel extends on an outside of and spaced away from the upper region of the vehicle window, to provide protection from inclement weather elements.

Surfaces of plastic glazing of tailgates

A plastic glazing of a tailgate of a vehicle is provided, the plastic glazing comprising: a translucent component, wherein a portion of the translucent component forms a rear window of the vehicle; a non-transparent component molded onto the translucent component, wherein an overlapping portion of the translucent component and the non-transparent component forms a blackout region proximate to the rear window, wherein the plastic glazing is of one-piece molded plastic construction, wherein the translucent component comprises a first textured surface in a region adjacent to the blackout region, where the first textured surface is configured to conceal a component of the vehicle.

SHADE SYSTEM
20200223294 · 2020-07-16 ·

A shade system includes a first track and a second track spaced a distance away from the first track, a shade is connected or interconnected to the track to slide along the track, and a cassette positioned at an end of the shade to receive the wound shade therein. The shade system may be configured to cover an area where the distance between the first and second track may varies. The shade may comprise a top section and a bottom section, and a central overlap portion to allow the top and bottom sections to slide with respect to each other. The shade may further include a plurality of adjacent panels configured to slide with respect to each other to provide shade coverage of an area where the first and second tracks are spaced apart at varying distances. The panels may be interconnected by guide wires and top and bottom sections may be supported by telescoping support rods.

Systems With Adjustable Windows

A system such as a vehicle may have adjustable structures such as adjustable windows. Adjustable windows may have adjustable layers such as adjustable tint layers, adjustable reflectivity layers, and adjustable haze layers. Adjustable window layers may be incorporated into a window with one or more transparent structural layers such as a pair of glass window layers. Adjustable components such as adjustable reflectivity layers, adjustable haze layers, and adjustable tint layers may be interposed between the pair of glass window layers. Fixed partially reflective mirrors, fixed tint layers, and/or fixed haze layers may be used in place of adjustable tint, haze, and reflectivity layers and/or may be incorporated into windows in addition to adjustable tint, haze, and reflectivity layers.

INTERLAYER FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS

There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which discoloration in the colored part can be suppressed. An interlayer film (1) for laminated glass according to the present invention has a colored part (X) that is colored in plan view, and a non-colored part (Y) that is not colored in plan view; the interlayer film does not contain or contains a light stabilizer in the colored part; the interlayer film contains a light stabilizer in the non-colored part; and a content of the light stabilizer in the entire non-colored part is larger than a content of the light stabilizer in the entire colored part.
