Sunshade assembly and open roof construction provided therewith
A sunshade assembly for use in a vehicle roof assembly comprises a flexible sunscreen having at least a central part and two opposed inwardly folded longitudinal edges connected to the central part by means of folding lines. A winding shaft for winding and unwinding the flexible sunscreen is provided at the trailing edge and an operating beam at the leading edge of the sunscreen. Two opposed longitudinal guides retain therein and guide corresponding ones of the folded longitudinal edges of the sunscreen. The guides are provided with locking members for engaging an outer end of the inwardly folded longitudinal edges for preventing these edges from moving out of the longitudinal guides when the sunscreen is at least partly unwound. The sunscreen includes at least two members which are each arranged substantially parallel to a respective longitudinal edge and which are buckle-stiff in a direction parallel to said longitudinal edge.
Vehicle component impact deflector
A deflection assembly for a vehicle including a vehicle component to be fastened or connected to a vehicle body. A connecting member extends through the vehicle component in an axial direction and is used for fastening the vehicle component to the vehicle body. A fastener is arranged on the connecting member axially in front of the vehicle component. To optimize a deformation zone of the motor vehicle a deflection element is arranged on the connecting rod axially in front of the nut. The deflection element having, in one disclosed example, a cross-section that increases at least in sections in axial direction towards the vehicle component. In addition, the deflection element may include an outer surface extending obliquely to the axial direction of the connecting member.
Vehicle body with battery connected thereto
Disclosed herein is a vehicle body with a battery connected thereto including a lower panel of a vehicle which extends in a horizontal direction, and to which a battery case in which a battery is provided in an upper portion or a lower portion is coupled, a seat cross member configured to extend in a direction parallel to a transverse direction of the vehicle and located on an upper surface or a lower surface of the lower panel, a battery cross member provided in the battery case, configured to extend in the direction parallel to the transverse direction of the vehicle, and located to correspond to the seat cross member in a vertical direction of the vehicle, and a coupling device configured to simultaneously pass through to couple the lower panel, the seat cross member, and the battery cross member in the vertical direction of the vehicle.
Two-zone adjustable sunroof shade
A dual zone shade assembly for a vehicle sunroof, moonroof, or panoramic roof, includes a central sliding shade guide and a pair of sliding shade panels all configured for sliding movement independently of one another. A latch assembly is provided, configured for independently engaging or releasing each of the pair of sliding shade panels and/or the central sliding shade guide.
Vehicle sunroof with adjustable blind
An apparatus is provided for regulating conditions in a vehicle cabin associated with a roof including an opening. A sunroof selectively covers the opening to the vehicle cabin. A blind is adapted for moving from a stowed position within the roof to a deployed position spanning across the opening. The blind includes blades selectively movable for partially blocking light entry while permitting airflow to the passenger compartment in the deployed position of the blind. A plurality of blades may be provided for concurrent operation, and may be adjustable to control a direction of airflow through the opening when the sunroof is open.
Built-in recreation device carrier
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative vehicle roofs, vehicles, and bicycle carriers. In an illustrative embodiment, a vehicle roof includes a rooftop and a forward recess section. The forward recess section is disposed near a forward end of the rooftop. The forward recess section defines a first cavity. The forward recess section includes a recreational device mount disposed within the first cavity and a lid configured to aerodynamically cover the first cavity.
Roof module, and vehicle having an accommodation facility comprising a roof module
The invention relates to a roof module for a land and/or water vehicle (10) having an accommodation facility comprising a kinematic unit (3) with two lateral guide rails (30), at least one roof segment (2) which is mounted in the guide rails (30) such that it can be moved between a closed position and an open position, and a circumferential load-bearing frame (4) with four profiled strips (40) which are connected to form a rectangle, which load-bearing frame (4) can be fastened to a vehicle roof (100) which has an opening (101) so as to surround the opening (101) or can be fastened in the opening (101) with the formation of a water barrier, the load-bearing frame (4) at least partially supporting and/or partially forming the kinematic unit (3).
Interior structure for an automated vehicle
An automated vehicle includes a vehicle body defining a storage area located rearward of a rearmost vehicle seat in a front-rear direction of the automated vehicle. An interior structure is located in the storage area. The interior structure defines a storage compartment for housing an electronic component of the automated vehicle. The interior structure includes a removable floor panel overlying the storage compartment and a wall panel extended upward from the floor panel in a height direction of the automated vehicle. The storage compartment includes a dedicated space for the electronic component, the dedicated space located forward of a forward edge portion of the floor panel in the front-rear direction and between the wall panel and the rearmost vehicle seat in the front-rear direction.
Removable car umbrella
In described embodiments, an automobile-mounted umbrella assembly contains a storage container movable between a stowed position and a deployment position and a motor operably connected to the storage container to move the storage container between the stowed position and the deployment position. An umbrella is removably stored in the storage container in a closed position. When the storage container is in the deployment position, the umbrella extends outwardly from the storage container and moves from the closed position to an open position. The umbrella is removable from the storage container for use away from the automobile.
MOONROOF ACCESSORY PANEL
This disclosure describes a moonroof accessory panel. The moonroof accessory panel may be a structure that may be removably attached to a moonroof area of a vehicle. The moonroof accessory panel may be used to hold a drone associated with the vehicle such that the drone may take-off from and land on the moonroof accessory panel. The top of the moonroof accessory panel may also be accessible from the cabin of the vehicle such that a user may place the drone on top of the moonroof accessory panel while inside the cabin. The moonroof accessory panel may also be used for other purposes beyond holding drones as well.
