Autonomous hybrid power generation platform

A power generation platform for delivering power to an external load includes an electrical system mounted to an autonomously-controlled chassis. The chassis has a powertrain that is responsive to control signals from a controller. The electrical system includes a fuel cell or other clean power supply for propelling the chassis, a direct current (DC) charging unit, a turbojet, a battery pack, and one or more electric machines. The DC charging unit and the battery pack are selectively connectable to the external load to deliver power to the external load, e.g., a propulsion battery pack of a vehicle or other system. The turbojet has a compressor, combustion chamber, and turbine, and injects low-emissions fuel into and combusts the fuel in the combustion chamber. The electric machine(s) are rotatably coupled to the compressor and/or the turbine to generate and transmit electricity to the battery pack.

VEHICLE-BASED GUIDED SWITCHING

A track switching arrangement for a track-based guided transportation system, wherein the track switching arrangement forms diverging pathways and enables vehicle-side switching of a vehicle in the guided transportation system. The track switching arrangement includes an upstream pathway; two downstream pathways; and a path switching transition region having the diverging pathways between the upstream pathway and the two downstream pathways. Each of the pathways includes track elements configured to interact with one or more respective bearings of the vehicle to provide levitation to the vehicle and/or guidance for the vehicle.

POINT SWITCH, AND RAILWAY NETWORK COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE POINT SWITCH OF SAID TYPE

A point switch is designed such that the point plates (1, 2) of the point switch which support the track (11, 12) are placed vertically on top of one another and that the position of the points is set by vertically moving the point plates.

Modular High-Speed Gondola Transport System
20240270289 · 2024-08-15 ·

The disclosure relates to a transportation system for urban mass transit that employs an array of narrow, elevated towers supporting stationary electrified cables. Self-propelled gondolas equipped with electric motors and regenerative braking systems traverse these cables, transporting passengers between various ground-level stations. The gondolas are capable of attaching to and detaching from the cables via an automated mechanism controlled by an onboard computer. The system is modular, allowing for scalable adaptation to urban environments and incorporates solar panels for energy generation. The system's design minimizes urban land use, offering an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional mass transit systems.

GANTRY LOADER

The present disclosure shows a gantry loader having at least one carriage travelable at a horizontal guide rail, in particular for the transport of workpieces between stations of a production system, wherein the carriage has at least one drive. The present energy is characterized in that the carriage has an energy store for the at least partial energy supply of the drive.

Transport system powered by short block linear synchronous motors

Aspects of the invention provide a transport system powered by short block Linear Synchronous Motors (LSMs). The use of short blocks allows vehicles to move under precise control even when they are in close proximity to each other. The design allows the vehicles to be propelled and guided while negotiating sharp turns and negotiating merge and diverge switches. A coreless LSM can be used to create propulsive force without attractive force so as to allow a relatively high drag vehicle suspension, such as a vehicle sliding on a smooth surface.

Monorail vehicle with shaped interior shell

A monorail vehicle includes a chassis supporting a vehicle body, that includes a passenger floor and at least one side wall, and an electrical motor supported by the chassis. A drive wheel is coupled to a rotor of the electric motor with a rotation axis of the drive wheel substantially coaxial with an axis of the rotor. Portions of the drive wheel and the electric motor are positioned on both sides of an imaginary plane extension of the passenger floor. The drive wheel and the electric motor are covered by a shell that is integral to one side of the vehicle body and which defines a space between the other side of the vehicle body.
