Predictive aircraft passenger cabin service system and method
Systems and methods for monitoring passenger activity in an aircraft cabin environment to predict immediate future passenger needs. The systems and methods make use of sensors positioned within an aircraft cabin environment configured to sense condition changes of objects corresponding to predetermined service issues, device(s) usable by the service crew indicating the sensed condition changes, and processing circuitry configured to receive sensor signals and indicate the condition changes through the device(s) such that the service crew is made aware of the condition changes requiring actions to be completed by the service crew to attend to the immediate future passenger needs.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle control device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an interface unit connected to a display and a camera within a vehicle; a processor receiving an image obtained by the camera through the interface unit and evaluating the received image based on a plurality of features, wherein the processor evaluates the image depending on whether the plurality of features satisfies a condition in which a driver sitting in the vehicle is recognizable; and a memory storing malfunction information of the camera corresponding to an evaluation result of the image. The processor controls the display to display malfunction information of the camera if the evaluation result of the image is determined to be poor.

Method of disinfecting vehicle using UVC light emitters
Methods and system for disinfecting an autonomous vehicle includes one or more LEDs coupled to the autonomous vehicle to emit UVC light into a passenger compartment of the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle can include sensors to confirm that the passenger compartment is empty and can be configured to prevent ingress of passengers into the passenger compartment while the UVC light is being emitted. Moreover, visible light indicators in the vehicle can be controlled to provide different visual indicators during the disinfecting cycle and when the vehicle is available to a passenger. In examples, the disinfecting cycle can be performed while the autonomous vehicle is in use, e.g., while the autonomous vehicle is traversing to a location to retrieve a passenger. The methods and systems can provide improved cleaning and disinfection of autonomous vehicles without the need to take the vehicles out of operation.
ELECTRONIC SHIFTING DEVICE WITH STERILIZATION FUNCTION AND STERILIZATION CONTROL METHOD USING THE SAME
An electronic shifting device with a sterilization function is provided. The electronic shifting device comprising a spherical mechanism configured to be rotatable relative to a housing installed in an interior of a vehicle, the spherical mechanism having one side at which a shifting unit having a hemispherical shape is provided, and the other side at which a sterilizing unit having a hemispherical shape is provided, a drive mechanism configured to adjust a rotation angle of the spherical mechanism by providing a rotational force to the spherical mechanism, and a controller configured to control the sterilizing unit so that the sterilizing unit performs a sterilization function in a state in which the shifting unit is hidden in the housing and the sterilizing unit is exposed to the interior of the vehicle by a rotation of the spherical mechanism.
RING LIGHT GUIDE AND LIGHT SOURCE MODULE
A light source module includes a ring light guide, at least one light source, a reflector, and a diffuser. The ring light guide includes a ring body and at least one light incident portion. The ring light guide has a light exit surface and a bottom surface, which are two opposite ring surfaces of the ring body. The ring body has a plurality of optical structures disposed along the ring body. The at least one light incident portion is disposed on the ring body and protrudes from a lateral side of the ring body. The light incident portion has a light incident surface, wherein a plane where the light incident surface lies crosses a plane where the light exit surface lies.
