Method for controlling door movements of the door of a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle component
A method for controlling door motions of a controllable door of a motor vehicle, wherein a control device and a sensor arrangement are assigned to the door, and the door includes a controllable motion influencing device. A motion of a door wing of the door can be controlled and influenced by the motion influencing device to alternate between a closed position and an open position. The sensor arrangement includes a surround sensor and monitors the surroundings of the door. The control device captures the signals from the sensor arrangement and evaluates the movement of an object in the surroundings of the door relative to the door and actively moves the door wing of the door, to prevent a collision with the object or to reduce its effects.

VEHICLE HAVING PARK ASSIST AND METHOD
A vehicle having park assist includes a plurality of powered closure doors, each door having an actuator for moving the door between closed and open positions, a plurality of sensors located on the vehicle for sensing objects relative to the vehicle and generating sensed signals indicative of the sensed objects, and a transceiver for communicating with a parked vehicle. The vehicle also includes a controller processing the sensed signals, determining a distance and location of the sensed objects relative to the doors, and determining a parking location for the vehicle in a garage where the closure doors are free from contact with an object in the garage when in an open position and are free of contact with powered closure doors on the parked vehicle. An output is provided to assist a driver of the vehicle to park the vehicle in the garage in the determined parking location.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE
A method for controlling vehicle braking of a wheel rotor having a brake pad associated therewith includes moving a piston into engagement with the brake pad by applying hydraulic pressure to the piston. The piston is locked in place against the brake pad with a parking brake. The hydraulic pressure is removed from the piston while the parking brake is locked.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DRIVING OF VEHICLE
An apparatus and method for controlling driving of a vehicle are provided and the apparatus includes a lamp that projects a lamp light onto one of a left floor surface or a right floor surface of the vehicle, a camera that obtains an image of an area onto which the lamp light is projected, and a controller that determines whether to output a warning based on the image of the area onto which the lamp light is projected when the lamp light is projected onto a boundary stone located around at least one of the left floor surface or the right floor surface of the vehicle.
Vehicle display device
A vehicle display device includes a light emitting device having a light emitting portion that is linear and that is provided at a front side of a vehicle cabin such that direct light that is emitted can be seen by a driver. The light emitting portion is disposed at a height position that is configured to be further toward a lower side than a visual field of the driver in a case in which the driver drives while looking straight ahead.
