Vehicle driver and autonomous system collaboration

A state of a driver operating a vehicle based at least on a rest pattern of the driver and a driver safety score and vehicle characteristic associated with the vehicle are determined. A risk of a planned route is received based on environment information. A safety risk for at least one location along the planned route is determined based on the received risk. Based on the safety risk, a use of available driver attention determined based on the state of the driver, possible modification of the planned route and vehicle state may be planned that minimize the safety risk. It may be determined that the driver is approaching a location along the planned route having a safety risk. Responsive to determining that the driver is approaching a location along the planned route having a safety risk, alert may be caused to be sent to the driver.

Driving sound generation device and driving sound generation method

A driving sound generation device includes: an acquirer that acquires vehicle information; a storage that stores a plurality of sound source data including driving sound source data and masker sound source data for generating a masker sound; a first adjuster that performs a first adjustment of the plurality of sound source data in accordance with the vehicle information; a second adjuster that performs a second adjustment of at least one of the plurality of sound source data after the first adjustment when the determiner determines that a change amount is smaller than or equal to a predetermined change amount; and a synthesizer that mixes the plurality of sound source data after the second adjustment to generate a driving sound to be output into a cabin of the vehicle; and an outputter that outputs, to the cabin of the vehicle, the driving sound generated.

Ingenious and practical, the Fire Safety Seat Belt has sensors around the car to tell the vehicle's computer to unlock the seat belts. When picking out your vehicle and wanting it fully loaded, drivers would definitely want this one extra safety mechanism, the Fire Safety Seat Belt. Not only would this device sense fires but is designed to sense the presence of excess water. This apparatus once sensing the vehicle is either on fire or flooding would release the seat belts and unlock the doors. This process would be lifesaving, allowing the individuals to easily get out of the vehicle and harm's way and to safety either by their own means or with aid of a good Samaritan. With the knowledge that you would be safe wearing your seat belt, without the potential of being stuck in the vehicle during an emergency, would also ease people's fears. Thus, this would help more individual's to make the choice to buckle up and potentially save more lives.
