Stable platform for motor vehicles
A stowable platform for motor vehicles which extends beyond the vehicle when in use but is stowed beneath the vehicle. The platform is pivotably secured to an elongated arm which is in turn pivotably secured to the vehicle and is positively locked in both positions.

The second connecting portion is rotatably connected with the mounting base and the running board holder. The running board holder includes a third main body and a third hinged portion. The first connecting portion includes a first main body and a plurality of first hinged portions, and the third hinged portion is rotatably connected among the plurality of first hinged portions; and/or the second connecting portion includes a second main body and a plurality of second hinged portions, the third hinged portion being rotatably connected among the plurality of second hinged portions.
Foldable guardrail assembly for selectively facilitating access to a machine component
A foldable guardrail assembly is provided for selectively facilitating access to a machine component located onboard a vehicle. The vehicle has a platform with a handrail disposed thereon and located adjacent to the machine component. The guardrail assembly includes a set of guardrails pivotally connected to each other in a successive manner via at least a corresponding number of hinge assemblies. A first one of the guardrails is pivotally connected to an upright portion of the handrail via a first hinge assembly. The guardrail assembly further includes a first latch assembly provided, at least in part, on a last one of the guardrails. The first latch assembly is configured to releasably secure the last one of guardrails to the platform when the guardrails operably move into in a fully unfolded position, via the hinge assemblies, for providing access to the machine component located onboard the platform.
Tire-mounted step stool
The tire-mounted step stool is a step is adapted for use with a tire of a vehicle. When the tire-mounted step stool is secured to the tire, the tire-mounted step stool forms a platform upon which a person can step to gain access to the roof or engine compartment of the vehicle. The tire-mounted step stool comprises a first panel, a second panel, a first steel bar, a second steel bar, and a plurality of hinges. The first steel bar and the second steel bar are used to attach the first panel to the second panel. The plurality of hinges is used to make the stated attachments in such a manner that the tire-mounted step stool is collapsible.
WORK VEHICLE
An access device is configured to be switched between a stored state in which an access member is stored in a vehicle body and a deployed state in which the access member is deployed. In the stored state, an exterior cover becomes a portion of the an exterior surface of the vehicle body and the access member is stored inside the vehicle body. In the deployed state, the access member extends from the vehicle body toward the a ground surface and the exterior cover is disposed on the a back side of the access member.
Detachable workpiece support apparatus for a tailgate step
A workpiece support is provided for a pickup truck tailgate. The tailgate includes a retractable step including a pair of step support members. The attachment brackets include a workpiece support bar and a riser that are attached to the step support members and to each other at a right angle. The workpiece support bar and riser may be fixedly attached to each other or attached by a pivot connector. Detachable connectors are provided to connect a workpiece support bar and riser detachably to the step support members.

An automotive vehicle with a storage compartment has a cabin, a set of rear wheels located behind the cabin, a cargo space, and a closable integrated storage compartment located adjacent to the cabin, rearward of a rear-most seat of the automotive vehicle, and forward of the set of rear wheels. At least a portion of the storage compartment is positioned forward of a forward wall of the cargo space. The storage compartment has at least one sidewall enclosing an interior portion of the storage compartment and extending from a first side panel at a first side of the automotive vehicle toward a second side of the automotive vehicle, a first opening to the storage compartment at the first side of the automotive vehicle, and a first door at the first opening. The first door has a first step member with a horizontal step surface when open.
