Spring fastener
According to one embodiment, a fastener comprises a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The first side is connected to the second side thereby forming a U-shaped structure. The fastener further comprises a bottom portion wherein the first side and the second side are connected, and a top portion opposite the bottom portion. The first side comprises a first engagement spring. The first engagement spring is connected to the first side in the vicinity of the bottom portion. The engagement springs have inward facing gussets connected to the bottom portion. The second side comprises a second engagement spring. The second engagement spring is connected to the second side in the vicinity of the bottom portion. A cavity is formed between the first side and the second side as will be described below. The engagement springs include an engagement region operable to adapt to variations or movement of a slot.
Decorative component for vehicle
A garnish includes a heating element, a base member, and a circuit board. The heating element is configured by stacking first and second sheet materials and interposing a heater wire in between. The circuit board includes a power source line and is fixed to a back surface of the base member. The heating element includes a main body portion and an extending portion. The extending portion includes a power source connection portion for connecting the heater wire to the power source line and extends to the back surface of the base member. The main body portion of the heating element is fixed to a laying surface of the base member by fixing the second sheet material to the base member. The heater wire is exposed in the power source connection portion without stacking the second sheet material on the first sheet material.
Decorative part for vehicle and method for manufacturing same
An emblem (30) (vehicle decorative part) includes a decorative main body (31) and a heater (55). The decorative main body (31) is configured to be attached to a vehicle at a front side in a transmission direction of millimeter waves from a millimeter wave radar to decorate the vehicle and has a millimeter wave transparency. The heater (55) has a heating element (57) that emits heat when energized. At least a part of the heating element (57) is located in a irradiation region (Z1) of the millimeter waves in the heater (55). As a millimeter wave attenuation reducing configuration that reduces attenuation of the millimeter waves passing through the heater (55), the heating element (57) is incorporated in the heater (55) in a condition where an area proportion of an area of a section of the heating element (57) that occupies the irradiation region (Z1) to an area of the irradiation region (Z1) is set such that an attenuation amount of the millimeter waves is less than or equal to a permissible value.
Decorative member
To provide a decorative member that has a small transmission loss of a millimeter wave and excellent metallic luster. The decorative member includes a base material made of a synthetic resin and a film body that made of an agglomeration of inorganic fine particles having at least a metal surface. An attenuation rate when a millimeter wave having a frequency of 18 to 300 GHz transmits is 0.001 to 2 dB, and an L* value (brightness) is 45 to 95.
Solar powered vehicle mounted display
Systems and methods for providing solar-generated power to a display unit mounted to a vehicle are provided. One or more mounting supports connect a housing for an electronic display to the vehicle. A solar energy harvesting device is secured to an upper portion of the vehicle and is electrically connected to the electronic display.

Board and method of producing the same
A board includes fibers and thermoplastic resin and has a first surface and a second surface that is opposite from the first surface. The board includes a flat body member having edges, a bent portion, a hole, and a filling portion that is made of thermoplastic resin and in the hole. The bent portion extends from one of the edges of the flat body member and includes an edge of the board. The bent portion includes an angled portion that extends along the one of the edges of the flat body member and the bent portion extends from the angled portion at an inclination angle with respect to the flat body member such that the first surface of the angled portion is stretched. The hole is in the first surface of the angled portion.
Driver airbag with emblem
A driver airbag with an emblem is proposed. The driver airbag with an emblem includes: a first cover mounted to a steering wheel; an emblem arranged on an upper portion of the first cover; a second cover having an emblem hole exposing a portion or all of the emblem upward, covering the emblem or the first cover from above the emblem, and coupled to the first cover or the steering wheel; and an airbag module coupled to the steering wheel below the first cover, and configured to deploy an airbag cushion toward a front portion of an occupant while rotating the first cover or the second cover during an operation thereof.
Quality Control System and Quality Control Program
A quality control system for controlling quality of a paint target includes: an individual identification section associating a step control value and a quality control value with identification information for the paint target on the basis of the amount of movement; a state value computing section calculating a state value indicative of a paint state of the paint target on the basis of a history of a temporal change of the step control value; a learning section learning a correlation between the step control value, the state value, and the quality control value using sets of the step control value, the state value, and the quality control value; an input device receiving information on the amount of movement, the step control value, and the quality control value; and a storage device storing a set of the identification information, the step control value, the state value, and the quality control value.
CAR TOP HAT DEVICE
A removable hat device for a motor vehicle roof is disclosed, having a base housing, a tubular guide, a hat cover body, a hat base, a central cylindrical support column, and an elongated bolt. The base housing includes plurality of rubber coated magnetic feet adapted to removably magnetically adhere to the roof of the motor vehicle. The base housing further includes an upstanding cylindrical sleeve. The tubular guide is fixed to the base housing. The hat cover body is attached to the base housing via a circular ring shaped platform having a plurality of spokes extruding from the central cylindrical support column. The central cylindrical support column is telescopically received in the upstanding hollow cylindrical sleeve of the base housing.
