The determiner determines whether the towed vehicle is movable backward in a coupling posture with the coupling angle maintained, when the towing vehicle is moved backward at a current steering angle. The notifier issues information on a steering angle at which the towed vehicle is movable backward in the coupling posture, among selectable steering angles of the towing vehicle.
Automated parking system, automated parking vehicle, and automated parking method
An automated parking system includes an automated parking vehicle and an information terminal. The vehicle includes a parking control device and a communication device. The parking control device controls the vehicle to cause the vehicle to search for and park in a vacant parking slot by means of autonomous travel. The communication device transmits automated parking status information to the information terminal when no vacant parking slot is found. Furthermore, the communication device receives an instruction about status control of the vehicle from the information terminal. The information terminal includes a communication device. The parking control device controls the vehicle according to the instruction about the status control of the vehicle that has been received from the information terminal.
Parking assistance device
Parking a vehicle at a location where parking is possible even when an obstacle is falsely detected. In a parking assistance device 1, an external environment recognition unit 11 recognizes road surface environment around an own vehicle on the basis of information detected by an external environment sensor 4 installed in the own vehicle. The display control unit 17 performs screen display using the HMI device 2 to present, to an occupant of the own vehicle, road surface information indicating the presence of an obstacle on the road surface around the own vehicle on the basis of the road surface environment recognized by the external environment recognition unit 11. The road surface information correction unit 16 corrects the road surface information and invalidates the obstacle. The parking route calculation unit 14 calculates a parking route for parking the own vehicle on the basis of the road surface information corrected by the road surface information correction unit 16.

A parking assistance apparatus includes: a parking space searching unit for searching for a parking-allowable parking space in which a user's vehicle can be parked; a target parking space selection unit for selecting a target parking space in which the user's vehicle is to be parked, based on an user setting information, when a plurality of parking-allowable parking spaces are detected; a parking operation assisting unit for assisting in a parking operation for parking the user's vehicle in the target parking space; and a parking operation assistance start determination unit for determining whether or not a determination condition for starting a parking operation is satisfied according to a state of the user's vehicle, and causing the parking operation assisting unit to start assisting in the parking operation when the determination condition is satisfied.

An obstacle detecting and notifying device according to an embodiment is to be installed in a vehicle, to issue an alarm upon detecting a moving obstacle. The device includes a moving-obstacle detector that detects a moving obstacle in a given monitoring area; a first calculator that calculates an expected moving route of the moving obstacle; a second calculator that calculates an expected moving route of the vehicle; a setter that sets an alarm area in the monitoring area in accordance with the expected moving route of the vehicle, the alarm area in which the alarm is to be issued; an excluder that excludes, from alarming moving obstacles, the moving obstacle unlikely to reach the alarm area, in accordance with the expected moving route of the moving obstacle and the expected moving route of the vehicle; and an alarm that issues an alarm against the alarming moving obstacles.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
Provided is a vehicle control device capable of quickly obtaining a route for reaching a target parking position re-recognized during automatic parking control. The vehicle control device includes: a connection route generation unit 33 which generates a target route 47 for moving a vehicle 1 from a parking start position 41 to a target parking position 44a of a target parking frame 44, and generates a connection route 48 for moving the vehicle to the target parking position of the target parking frame re-recognized by a recognition unit 31 while the vehicle moves along the target route from the position of the vehicle; and a mode switching unit which switches from a first mode in which the vehicle 1 moves along the target route 47 to a second mode in which the vehicle 1 moves along the connection route 48, on condition that the connection route 48 is generated.
