Variable air hole covering flap device and operating method thereof
A variable air hole covering flap device is provided and selectively opens or closes an air hole formed in a wheel deflector or a wheel cover to allow air to be introduced toward a brake. The air hole is opened only when brake cooling of a vehicle is more necessary than aerodynamic performance of the vehicle to properly control the aerodynamic performance and the brake cooling performance of the vehicle as necessary.

A SUSPENSION DEVICE OF A MOTOR- VEHICLE WHEEL
A suspension device of a motor-vehicle wheel includes a support member of the motor-vehicle wheel connectable to the motor-vehicle structure by means of one or more suspension members, a brake disc connected in rotation with the motor-vehicle wheel, a brake caliper associated with the brake disc and a brake disc cover. The brake caliper is formed in a single piece with the support member of the motor-vehicle wheel by means of additive manufacturing technology.
APPARATUS FOR GUIDING AIR TOWARD A WHEEL BRAKE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Apparatus for guiding air toward a wheel brake of a motor vehicle. The apparatus includes an air guide element, which can be displaced between a retracted rest position, in which the same is retracted in relation to an undercarriage of the motor vehicle, and an extended operating position, in which the same is extended in relation to the undercarriage. The air guide element can be displaced, via a hydraulic adjustment mechanism between the rest position and the operating position. The hydraulic adjustment mechanism includes a hydraulic cylinder and a return element. In the presence of brake actuation, the hydraulic cylinder can be filled with brake fluid in order to displace the air guide element from the rest position to the operating position. In the absence of brake actuation, the return element displaces the air guide element from the operating position to the rest position.

Brake device
A brake device for installation on an axle of wheels including a piston; a casing accommodating at least the piston; a container; a first cast iron disc and a second cast iron disc, joined to the container; a first brake lining; a first supporting disc on which the first brake lining is located; and a bearing fixed to the central cylindrical wall of the container around the axle. The container and the casing remain fixed without rotating about the axle and the first brake lining together with the first supporting disc are fixed to the axle. The piston is further configured to displace the container together with the two cast iron discs towards the first brake lining until the first cast iron disc makes contact with the first brake lining. The container includes an inner circuit configured to accommodate a coolant.
VEHICLE DISC BRAKE
A pad for disc brakes for railway vehicles comprising a base plate (2), a plurality of friction elements fixed to the base plate and a plurality of spacers, each of which is mounted between the base plate and a respective friction element. In each one of the spacers at least one fixing hole is obtained, which is engaged by a respective rivet suited to lock the friction element to the base plate. Each one of the spacers consists of a plurality of metal plaques, each having a fixing hole obtained in it. The metal plaques are stacked on top of one another so that the respective fixing holes coincide.

Brake system
A brake system comprising a brake disc, a wheel hub connected to the brake disc, and a bearing assembly mounted around the wheel hub, the brake system further comprising: a first electric circuit embedded inside the brake disc; a second electric circuit embedded inside the wheel hub and electrically connected with the first electric circuit; and a third electric circuit embedded inside the bearing assembly and electrically connected with the second electric circuit, wherein when an electric current flows to the first electric circuit through the second and third electric circuits, the first electric circuit generates heat for applying to the brake disc.
Lower aerodynamic screen of a front shield of a motor vehicle
A lower aerodynamic screen of a front shield of a motor vehicle includes lateral air guides shaped to channel air passing under the aerodynamic screen towards front disc brakes of the vehicle, wherein each air guide is defined by two substantially vertical lateral walls and by an upper wall linked to upper edges of the lateral walls, the air guide being provided, downstream relative to a direction of flow of the air, with a window defined by rear edges of the lateral walls and the upper wall, from which the air emerges towards the disc brakes, the air guide further including a flap that is movable between a position in which it blocks the window and a position in which it is retracted from the window.
