SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ATTACK WHEN SENSOR AND TRAFFIC INFORMATION ARE INCONSISTENT
Disclosed is a system for detecting an attack, which includes a server and a plurality of vehicles capable of wirelessly communicating with each other. Each of the vehicles has a sensor, a sensor information acquisition unit, a traffic information reception unit, and a transmission unit that transmits the sensor information and the traffic information to the server. The server has a reception unit that receives the sensor information and the traffic information from the vehicles, a verification unit that verifies whether the sensor information and the traffic information are inconsistent with each other, and a notification unit that notifies, when the sensor information and the traffic information are inconsistent with each other, the vehicles of the inconsistency.

Processing captured vehicle fluid
The present application is directed to a system and method for processing fluid captured from a vehicle surface and routing the fluid to one or more fluid reservoirs of the vehicle. The system includes one or more reservoirs for storing captured fluid and one or more reservoirs for storing chemical based fluids such as antifreeze fluids. The system is operationally configured to convey chemical based fluid to the captured fluid reservoir(s) according to one or more preset ambient temperatures of the system prior to routing fluid to one or more fluid reservoirs of the vehicle.

Providing driver feedback
Technical solutions are described for providing a driver performance feedback to a driver of a vehicle. An example method includes receiving, by a controller, a first maneuver control from an automated driving system of the vehicle. The method further includes receiving, by the controller, a second maneuver control from the driver. The method further includes, in response to the first maneuver control being different from the second maneuver control, generating a driver notification that is indicative of the first maneuver control from the automated driving system, and operating the vehicle using the second maneuver control.
Method and apparatus of controlling vibration for hybrid electric vehicle
Disclosed are a method of and an apparatus for controlling a vibration of a hybrid electric vehicle. An apparatus for controlling a vibration of a hybrid electric vehicle may include: an engine position detector detecting a position of an engine; an air amount detector detecting an air amount flowing into the engine; an accelerator pedal position detector detecting a position of an accelerator pedal; a vehicle speed detector detecting a speed of the hybrid electric vehicle; and a controller. The controller controls operation of a motor based on the position of the engine, the air amount, the position of the accelerator pedal, and the speed of the hybrid electric vehicle.
Sensor surface object detection methods and systems
Methods, devices, and systems of a sensor surface object detection system are provided. Output from sensors of a vehicle may be used to describe an environment around the vehicle. In the event that a sensor is obstructed by dirt, debris, or detritus the sensor may not sufficiently describe the environment for autonomous control operations. The sensor surface object detection system may receive output from the sensors of the vehicle to determine whether any of the sensors are obstructed. The determination may be made by comparing the output of one sensor to another, determining whether the output of a sensor is within a predetermined threshold, or comparing characteristics of multiple sensor outputs to one another. When a sensor is determined to be obstructed, the system may send a command to a cleaning system to automatically remove the obstruction.
CONTROL SYSTEM
A powered system may include a control system having processors communicatively coupled with each other by a data plane of a communication network. The processors may run software applications in containers to control operation of the powered system. The processors may switch which of the processors are running different ones of the software applications operating in different ones of the containers without recompiling code of the software applications or changing the code of the software applications.
