COASTER AND TROLLEY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A rail coaster operates as a cross between a roller coaster and a zip line. A rail may be suspended under a frame by flexible cables or solid brackets. The rail may turn, incline, decline, or twist, but need not twist to still provide a rolling degree of freedom for a rider. An eddy current brake provides proportional braking as a function of speed. A cam-adjustment-axle (eccentric) carries certain wheels to provide finely divided, discrete, but incrementally small adjustments of idler wheel clearances to accommodate variations in the rail, wheel wear, and onsite adjustment of tolerances for curvature, unevenness, and friction. A static universal bracket provides adjustment in four degrees of freedom, three of translation and one of rotation in securing a rail to a supporting frame.
TRANSPORT CARRIAGE AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING OBJECTS
A transport carriage for transporting workpieces, the transport carriage being movable on a mounting rail in a transport direction. The transport carriage has a transport carriage chassis which supports at least one drive roller that can roll on a drive running surface of the mounting rail and can be driven by a drive motor, the drive motor being carried along with the transport carriage chassis. The transport carriage additionally includes at least one securing device for at least one workpiece. The transport carriage carries along an autonomous power supply device which can supply the drive motor with power. A system is additionally provided for transporting workpieces, having a rail system which has at least one mounting rail and includes at least one such transport carriage which can be moved on the mounting rail in a transport direction.

Multifunctional track system with independently movable vehicles
A multifunctional track system with two or more independently movable trolleys which can run along the track system and are adapted to receive multiple interchangeable components for data collection, navigation, and cargo transportation is disclosed. The trolleys and the track system communicate data to a central station, which monitors and sends instructions to the trolleys. The system can have horizontal, vertical or angular segments and the trolleys are enabled to move along all segments and switch between tracks. Various operational units in the trolleys are possible in the same system.

High Speed Train System
A long distance transit system for transferring passengers at a high rate of speed, the transit system comprises at least one mainline train, at least one station train, a rail system having at least one station with at least one mainline track and at least one station line. At least one mainline train travels exclusively on the at least one mainline track and the at least one station train travels on at least one station line. At least one mainline train travels at a consistent speed on at least one mainline track. At least one station train travels from at least one station to at least one mainline track reaching a speed substantially equal to that of the at least one mainline train and traveling adjacent thereto.
SELF-PROPELLED ELEVATED TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
In accordance with embodiments of the invention, an elevated transportation system is provided. The elevated transportation system includes a plurality of towers. A plurality of track segments is operable to connect to the plurality of towers. A lift car is operable to move along the plurality of track segments. Each tower of the plurality of towers is operable to receive and connect one or more track segments. The plurality of towers is operable to enable the lift car to move along the plurality track segments.
