MULTI-RAIL EXPRESS TRANSIT SYSTEM
20210163049 · 2021-06-03 ·

A multi-rail express transit system for allowing the passengers to travel at desired speed/distance, is disclosed. The system comprises a centralized control system, at least three closed loop parallel rails, and at least three sequence of transit cars. Each sequence of transit car is supported by the respective rail. The transit cars are configured to move in same direction at different speeds. The control system is configured to synchronize the speed of transit cars at desired point to allow transference of passengers. A bellow assembly is disposed around an exterior side of a door of each transit car. The bellow assembly is configured to form an airtight passageway between at least two transit cars. Each transit car comprises a movable floor. The movable floor of one transit car is extendable to a floor of an adjacent transit car to facilitate passenger transference on forming the airtight seal.

A rail system includes a main track, a spur track connected to the main track by a switch changeable between a closed state and an open state, and a station spaced from the main track and accessible by the spur track. The rail system further includes a train with a passenger car and an EMDI releasably coupleable behind the passenger car. A method of operating the rail system includes decoupling the EMDI from the passenger car when the train is moving at a first speed toward the switch in the closed state. The EMDI is decelerated to a second speed less than the first speed. After the train has moved past the switch and the switch has been changed to the open state, the EMDI is diverted from the main track to the spur track via the switch in the open state and decelerated to a stop at the station.

A non-stop train system including a plurality of train cars in communication with one another and in communication with an electronic control module. The train system further includes a track having a plurality of drop off and pick up locations. A prepositioned train car is stopped on the track at one of the drop off and pick up locations. A non-stop express train approaches the drop off and pick up location on the track initiating the prepositioned train car to begin departure. The electronic control module is used to adjust the speed of the non-stop express train and the prepositioned train car based on a detected distance such that a front coupler of the non-stop express train couples to the rear coupler of the prepositioned train car while moving along the track.

The present disclosure is directed to a system for non-stop high-speed rail transportation having a high-speed rail car with a movable cabin, and a high-speed rail shuttle reaching a speed equivalent to that of the high-speed rail car. The system also includes a mechanical coupling between the high-speed rail car and the high-speed rail shuttle, and a transfer platform system supporting a transfer of the movable cabin from the high-speed rail car to the high-speed rail shuttle. The present disclosure is also directed to a method of non-stop high-speed rail transportation including operating a high-speed rail car at a high-speed and a high-speed rail shuttle at the high-speed alongside the high-speed rail car. The method also includes coupling the high-speed rail car to the high-speed rail shuttle, transferring a movable cabin from the high-speed rail car to the high-speed rail shuttle, and decoupling the high-speed rail shuttle from the high-speed rail shuttle.
