Vehicle cargo box
A cargo box has a cargo box body and a tailgate. The cargo box body has two walls, a floor, an opened side, at least one slot defined in the floor, and at least one tab extending from at least one of the walls. The tailgate is selectively pivotally connected to the cargo box body and has at least one tailgate tab extending from a bottom thereof and being received in the at least one slot and at least one recess defined in a side thereof. The at least one tab overlaps a portion of the tailgate when the tailgate is closed thereby preventing opening of the tailgate. The tailgate is generally vertically slidable to align the at least one recess with the at least one tab thereby permitting opening of the tailgate. A vehicle having the tailgate and methods of opening and removing a tailgate are also described.

Compressed air tank for a truck service body
A service body mountable on a truck chassis where compressed air tanks are mounted to the service body frame. The compressed air tanks being contained within a mounting envelope defined as the volume between the frame rails of the service body. The mounting envelope further defined as the volume between a first plane formed by the top surface of the service body frame rails and a second plane formed by the bottom surface of the service body frame rails.
Bed liner fastening system and method
A bed liner system for use in a bed floor of a material hauling machine includes a lower panel that is attachable to the bed floor. The lower panel includes a first plate having a first flange, a first central opening and two first central slots disposed, one each, on either side of the first central opening. The bed liner system further includes an upper panel that is attachable to the lower panel. The upper panel includes a top plate having a second flange having a second central opening and two second central slots disposed that are aligned with corresponding features of the first flange such that a block having a top flange and a bottom flange connected by a web is insertable through the first and second central openings and slidable through one each of the two first and second central slots.
Frame structure for a vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a frame structure for a vehicle comprising a front wheel suspension arrangement for suspending a pair of front wheels of the vehicle and a rear wheel suspension arrangement for suspending a pair of rear wheels of the vehicle, wherein the frame structure comprises a load bearing frame arrangement arranged to be positioned at a transversal center portion of the vehicle, the load bearing frame arrangement comprising a first member and a second member, each of the first and second members forming a diagonal extension as seen in a transversal cross section of the load bearing frame arrangement, wherein the diagonal first and second members extend longitudinally between the front wheel suspension arrangement and the rear wheel suspension arrangement, wherein the diagonal extension of the first member interconnects with the diagonal extension of the second member forming a connection point between the first and second members.

Trailer sidewall construction
A trailer for transporting bulk material has a container mounted on a chassis and wheeled suspension. The container has opposing sidewalls, a floor, a front wall, and a rear opening. The trailer further has an unloading system comprising a plow and a plow motor system. The plow is disposed in the container and shaped and sized to span substantially a transverse cross-section of the container. The plow motor system is operable to move the plow longitudinally in the container to urge or push the bulk material in the container toward and out of the rear opening of the container. At least one of the sidewalls comprises a removable panel installed longitudinally along a bottom of the sidewall, wherein an inward-facing surface of the removable panel and an inward-facing surface of the sidewall are substantially co-planar.
Truck bed spacer
A crush-tube assembly for securing a truck bed to a frame of a vehicle. The crush-tube assembly includes a first hole defined by the truck bed, a crush-tube defining an inner diameter, a cross-member defining a second hole, and a frame defining a third hole. A bolt extends through the first hole, the crush-tube, the second hole, and third hole. The inner diameter is smaller than the second hole and maintains pressure around a periphery of the second hole. The pressure applied by the bolt around the hole in the cross-member prevents abrasion of the e-coat previously applied to the cross-member and thereby reduces the potential for corrosion of the cross-member.
Thermal barriers for compartments
An aspect of the present disclosure is a thermal barrier that includes a core layer having a first surface, a second surface, and a first edge, and a first outer layer that includes a third surface and a second edge, where the third surface substantially contacts the first surface, the core layer is configured to minimize conductive heat transfer through the barrier, and the first outer layer is configured to maximize reflection of light away from the barrier.
Pick up truck elongator
A replacement tailgate for the purpose of elongating the pick up truck may be installed on a truck bed wherein the replacement tailgate can be unfolded in order to elongate a length of the truck bed. The replacement tailgate may have front and rear shells that are used to support objects placed in the truck bed as well as act as the new tailgate when the truck bed length is elongated. Various panels may be unfolded in order to trap objects within the truck bed when the replacement tailgate is unfolded in order to elongate the truck bed length.
