A vehicle component includes a body having a plurality of layers where each of the plurality of layers is a composite material. The body includes a recess formed in one or more of the plurality of layers. A lighting material is disposed in the recess and includes a tube having a first end and a second end, and a light guide disposed within the tube and extending between the first end and the second end of the tube. A light source is adjacent to one or more of the first end and the second end of the tube. The light source is directed toward the light guide and configured to illuminate the lighting material. The recess is sized to receive the tube.

A recreational vehicle may include a track drive protector attached to a bottom-out protector. The track drive protector is configured to mate with the bottom-out protector. A recreational vehicle may further or alternatively include a secondary skid plate attached to the skid plate. The track drive protector and the secondary skid plate may provide additional support to the vehicle, help deflect debris away from the underside of the vehicle, and/or absorb impact forces when the vehicle strikes an object.

An omni-directional self-orienting structure for a motorcycle, ATV, UTV, off road vehicle, snowmobile, bicycle or other vehicle. The structure extends from the vehicle and will deflect or breakaway under an applied force such as an impact, for example by a tree branch strike or crash.
