VEHICLE WITH A PROTECTIVE WARNING SYSTEM
A protective warning system for a vehicle is provided. A device comprises: a long-range camera and a stereoscopic camera positioned in a housing to image external objects in a rear-facing direction when the housing is mounted to a vehicle. A controller detects, using images from the long-range camera, an external object in the rear-facing direction and process stereoscopic images from the stereoscopic camera to determine when the external object is located with a first zone or a second zone extending in the rear-facing direction, the second zone being closer to the stereoscopic camera than the first zone. In response to determining that the external object is located with the first zone or the second zone, the controller controls the one or more notification devices to provide one or more first or second notifications associated with a first or second urgency level.
BICYCLE ACCESSORY
A bicycle accessory that is configured to be operably coupled to a first bicycle proximate the rear thereof wherein the bicycle accessory is further configured to be operably engaged by a second bicycle located rearward of the first bicycle so that the second bicycle can assist in the forward propulsion of the first bicycle. The present invention includes a frame wherein the frame includes a first support member and a second support member. The first support member and the second support member each have impact reduction members formed as a part thereof. The frame includes a rear engagement assembly wherein the rear engagement assembly includes mounting plates having an upper roller member and a lower roller member secured therebetween. The upper roller member and lower roller member are rotatably mounted and configured to engage a front tire of the second bicycle.
Vehicle collision detection and driver notification system
A vehicle collision avoidance and driver notification system includes an object detection unit configured to detect environmental obstacles and a collision detection unit for assessing risk of collision. Depending on risk assessment, a collision avoidance unit gives feedback to the driver or directly interacts with the vehicle engine.
LEANING VEHICLE LOCKING SYSTEM COMPRISING A GEAR MOTOR
A locking system for a vehicle having a locking device and a gear motor operatively connected to the locking device and configured to cause the locking device to take a stable locking state and a release state, where the gear motor includes a drive motor having an input shaft, a first transmission wheel coupled to a first portion of the input shaft and a second transmission wheel coupled to a second portion of the input shaft.
SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
This saddle-type vehicle includes a warning vibration generator (205) that generates a predetermined vibration to issue a warning to a driver, the warning vibration generator (205) includes a warning selection unit (210) that selects a predetermined warning in accordance with a strength of driving assist control, and, in accordance with the warning selected by the warning selection unit (210), the warning vibration generator (205) generates a vibration (a haptic vibration) as a warning in a frequency band that avoids a vibration frequency common to a motorcycle.
STEERING ASSISTANCE DEVICE FOR SADDLE TYPE VEHICLE
When an external detection device detects an obstacle (another vehicle (T)) on either a left or right side of the own vehicle (M), a control device of a steering assistance device for a saddle type vehicle controls an assist torque so that a handle operation to the side opposite to the side on which the obstacle is detected becomes heavier (more difficult to turn) than a case in which the obstacle is not detected. The handle operation to the side on which the obstacle is detected makes a handle relatively light (makes it easier to turn) while steering assist is maintained.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CHECKING THE PLAUSIBILITY OF AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING A TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE
A method for checking the plausibility of accident situations involving a two-wheeled vehicle, a device for carrying out this method, and a two-wheeled vehicle comprising a device of this kind. In the method, it is checked, i.e., reviewed, whether it is plausible to output the accident information, in order to avoid unnecessary or even incorrect calls for help.
External protection device for vehicles and heads
A rigid and aerodynamic device for external protection for motorcycle and bicycle vehicles with 2 to 4 wheels. This removable dome type device is formed by multiple overlapping panels that form an oval shell type structure, which protects both the vehicle and the pilot from external weather conditions and physical damage in the event of a collision.
