The system includes at least one receiver electronic component, each system component having zero or more pieces of information attributable thereto and candidate to communication within the system. Each of the attributable pieces of information includes an identifier which is unique in the bicycle electronic system. According to the method, basic-payloads, each containing at least the unique identifier of a respective one of the attributable pieces of information, are formed and grouped together in a payload. The payload is then sent to the at least one receiver electronic component as value of a characteristic of a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) service.
