Autonomous system for air cargo end-to-end operations

The present disclosure provides an end-to-end cargo handling system. The end-to-end cargo handling system comprises a transportation unit comprising a first sensing agent, a lift unit comprising a second sensing agent, and a control module in communication with the transportation unit and the lift unit via a network, wherein the transportation unit and the lift unit are configured to move a cargo unit from a first location to a second location autonomously.

Flexible and simple turnaround cargo handling assemblies

A convertible cargo handling assembly may comprise a mat, a fitting, and a removable cargo handling component. The fitting may include a fixed component and a coupling component. The fixed component may be located in an opening defined by the mat. The removable cargo handling component may be located over the mat and removably coupled to the fixed portion of the fitting via a coupling between the coupling component and the fixed component.

An automatic electromechanical braking roller system includes a power drive unit (PDU) comprising a sensor configured to detect a speed of a unit load device (ULD), a controller configured to receive a speed signal corresponding to a speed of the ULD from the sensor, and an electromechanical braking roller (EBR) spaced apart from the PDU and configured to receive a braking signal from the controller in response to the speed of the ULD being greater than a threshold value. In response to the speed of the ULD being less than the threshold value, the EBR is configured to rotate freely about an axis in a first state. In response to the speed of the ULD being greater than the threshold value, the EBR is configured to reduce the speed of the ULD in a second state.

Detachable cargo mirror assembly

A detachable cargo mirror assembly for use on a rotorcraft surface that includes a bracket for mounting to a surface on the rotorcraft, the bracket comprising a base portion and a retainer portion having a first pair of opposing holes, an elongated arm having two opposing ends, a first end for coupling with the bracket and a second end coupled to a mirror apparatus, the first end having a passage; and a releasable connector that engages with the first pair of opposing holes and the passage in the elongated arm when the elongated arm is in a first position to display a desired image on the mirror apparatus. The detachable cargo mirror assembly can be removed or in a stowed position when not in use.
