APPARATUS FOR FILLING CARTRIDGES OF E-VAPOR DEVICES
An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.
Pre-cooked instant food product and process for preparing it
Examples of a pre-cooked instant food products and a process for preparing such food products are described. The process comprises the steps of i) steaming the food product for pre-determined time; ii) immersing the steamed food product in a high concentration cooled brine solution; iii) removing excess water from the surface of the food product; iv) packing a pre-determined amount of the food product into a container and sealing such container, and v) storing the containers of pre-cooked instant food products at temperatures of 2° C. or lower. The container is made of a material safe for keeping food products and is able to withstand temperatures higher than 90° C. The surface of the food product is coated with the salt from the brine solution to preserve it.
Plastic containers
The present invention provides a method for the commercial presentation of a solution of gadolinium-DOTA that provides certain advantages over the known methods.
METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR FILLING PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS
The present invention involves both an apparatus and an associated method for confirming the presence or absence of closures in a closure nest inside an aseptic chamber. The apparatus comprises a topographical profiler disposed to monitor the closure nests. Vertical displacements in topographical maps obtained by the profiler are compared with information from a database about the nest and closure combinations. Vertical displacements falling outside predetermined upper and lower bounds are deemed absences of closures. The topographical profiler may be disposed outside the aseptic chamber. The system may be automated via a controller and suitable software. In some embodiments the nests and disposed in the monitored area by robotic articulated arms. In other embodiments the closure nests are moved by vacuum pickup systems. The system and method may also be employed to assess the suitability of a closure nest for closing in an aseptic chamber containers in a container nest.
FILLING DEVICE FOR FILLING A DEFINED QUANTITY OF A PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a filling device for dispensing a defined quantity of a product, comprising: a piston pump (3) for delivering the product to be dispensed from a reservoir (2) to a filling needle (5), wherein the piston pump (3) comprises a piston (30), a cylinder body (31), an inlet (33), an outlet (34), a first non-return valve (8) and a second non-return valve (9), wherein the piston (30), the cylinder body (31), the inlet (34), the outlet (34), the first non-return valve (8) and the second non-return valve (9) are made of a non-metallic material, wherein the inlet (33) and the outlet (34) are arranged inclined at an angle (26, 27) different from zero relative to an axis (22) of the cylinder body (31).
Functional Module for Moving to a Dosing Station Positioned in a Process Chamber of a Containment System and Corresponding Method
A containment system for placement in an installation space includes a housing which encloses a process chamber, a dosing station for the aseptic filling of vessels with a liquid, positioned in the process chamber, a transfer port leading into the process chamber, and a functional module which can be moved up to the dosing station, The module includes an element carrier, functional elements installed on the element carrier, and media feed lines connected to the functional elements. The functional module with the element carrier, the functional elements, and the media feed lines is movable from an initial position, through a transfer port leading into the process chamber, to an operating position at the dosing station.
Method and apparatus for transferring a liquid drug to a collapsible reservoir
The invention concerns a method and an apparatus for transferring an amount of a liquid drug (11) from a supply container (1) having stored the liquid drug (11) to a collapsible reservoir (2), the method including and the apparatus enabling the steps of: a) providing a fluid connection (3) between the supply container (1) and the collapsible reservoir (2); b) subjecting the liquid drug (11) stored in the supply container (1) to an environmental pressure; c) subjecting the collapsible reservoir (2) to a positive pressure relative to the environmental pressure, thereby collapsing the collapsible reservoir (2) and transferring gas comprised in the collapsible reservoir (2) from the collapsible reservoir (2) to the supply container (1); d) subjecting the collapsible reservoir (2) to a negative pressure relative to the environmental pressure, thereby expanding the collapsible reservoir (2) and transferring the amount of the liquid drug (11) from the supply container (1) to the collapsible reservoir (2).
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CARTRIDGE
A method for producing a cartridge is proposed, where a fluid is filled into an opening of a container and a closure part is inserted into the container, thereby moving a movable piston arranged within the container.
Apparatus, system and method for fluid delivery
A filling aid. The filling aid includes a needle housing portion including at least one tab having a starting position and a filling position, and a filling needle cradle including a filling needle, the filling needle cradle slidable connected to the needle housing portion and having a starting position and a filling position, wherein when the at least one tab on the needle housing moves from a starting position to a filling position, the filling needle cradle slides from a starting position to a filling position, and wherein when the at least one tab on the needle housing moves from a filling position to a starting position, the filling needle cradle slides from a filling position to a starting position.
