LAYERED FOOD PACKAGING SYSTEM, TEMPERARY PLACEMENT APPARATUS, AND CARRIER DEVICE
A layered food packaging system includes: a carrier device configured to convey a sandwich in a horizontal posture in which a layering direction of the sandwich is substantially vertical; a temporary placement table configured to temporarily place the sandwich thereon in a vertical posture in which the layering direction of the sandwich is substantially horizontal; a first robot and a second robot configured to grip the sandwich that is conveyed by the carrier device, lift the sandwich from the carrier device, change the posture of the sandwich from the horizontal posture to the vertical posture, and temporarily place the sandwich on the temporary placement table; and a third robot configured to grip the sandwich that is temporarily placed on the temporary placement table, and insert the sandwich into a bag for packaging the layered food.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PACKING PRODUCT IN A TUBULAR CASING
A method and apparatus of packing product in a tubular casing is provided. The method includes providing a continuous length of tubular casing, providing an expansion plug within the tubular casing, grasping the casing upstream end with a casing grabber, moving the casing grabber away from the expansion plug towards an outlet end of a product feed conduit, feeding product from the product feed conduit through the casing upstream end into the tubular casing, and cutting the tubular casing downstream of the product to sever an upstream casing segment from the remaining continuous length of tubular casing.
Method for preserving fresh juice of citrus fruits and pomegranates
The invention relates to a method for preserving the fresh juice of citrus fruits or pomegranates following the conventional treatment of the fruit and corresponding extrusion or expression of same to obtain the juice. The method consists of: applying, prior to introducing the juice into a container, CO.sub.2 in the form of carbonic snow, which removes the oxygen content in the container; then introducing the juice continuously; subsequently adding, according to the characteristics of the juice, a dose of liquid nitrogen that allows the atmosphere of the headspace thereof to be corrected; and hermetically sealing the container, such that the absence of oxygen therein is ensured, preventing the product from oxidising and increasing the durability thereof, as long as said product is preserved at a final temperature between 1 and 4° C.

The furniture wrapping system includes a film roll support configured to unroll a first film across a path of the furniture article in a first direction, such that the film roll support positions a film barrier across the path. The furniture wrapping system includes a conveyor mechanism configured to carry the furniture article along the path and into the barrier. The furniture wrapping system includes a sealer configured to extend across the path to form a seal such that the furniture article is partially enclosed in the first film.

Contact lens packaging (2) includes two or more individual, sealed blister packs (1) coupled together by a connecting label (5), which includes a uni-axial shear polymer film (6). The connecting label (5) is arranged and oriented such that the tear direction of the polymer film (6) is parallel to a line (A) bisecting adjacent blister packs (1). A furniture item comprises various components for assembly thereof.
