CREATING VIRTUAL POUCH USING TACKING BAR IN REUSABLE PACKAGING METHODS AND SYSTEMS
20250083844 · 2025-03-13 ·

Packaging methods include inserting an article into a virtual pouch defined by folding and tacking a first sheet of textile material. The first sheet is then folded about the article such that the first sheet encompasses the article. A second sheet of a textile material is then folded about the first sheet into a configuration such that the second sheet entirely envelops and encloses the first sheet and the textile article. The second folded sheet is then secured in the enveloping configuration. Alternatively, the article is wrapped in and encompassed by a first sheet of textile material by folding and the resulting package is then enclosed within a virtual pouch created in a second sheet of textile material. The resulting outer sheet enclosing the inner sheet with the textile article is then secured in its enclosing configuration with a strap. The packaging materials can be cleaned and decontaminated for reuse.

Open-mesh bags and methods of production

Bags, such as L-sewn bags and multi-substrate bags, are formed at least in part from an open mesh material that includes filaments that intersect one another. At least some of the filaments are composite filaments having a carrier portion of a relatively high melting point and a bonding portion of a relatively low melting point, the bonding portion of each composite filament being thermally bonded to other filaments at points of intersection. The material may be a non-woven fabric that contains at least two layers of weft filaments that may be bordered on one or both sides by a layer of warp filaments. When compared to other open mesh materials, the open mesh material disclosed herein has a superior combination of some or all of high strength, light weight, high dimensional stability, and openness. Also disclosed herein are methods of making and using such bags.

Netting with elongation indicator and method of determining the elongation of a netting
09574289 · 2017-02-21 · ·

A knitted netting for wrapping an object is provided. When wrapping the object the knitted netting may have an indicated target elongation. The knitted netting includes first longitudinal franzes, first lateral schusses, at least two second longitudinal franzes, and at least one second lateral schuss. The schusses are knitted with the franzes to form the knitted netting. The first longitudinal franzes and the first lateral schusses are configured such that the spacing of the first longitudinal franzes decreases by less than 10% when elongating the knitted netting by 50% of the target elongation, the target elongation being from 15% to 300% of the length of the knitted netting. The second lateral schuss is an indicator schuss. The second longitudinal franzes are indicator franzes. The indicator schuss is knitted with the indicator franzes to form an elongation indicator for indicating the amount of longitudinal stretching of the knitted netting. The elongation indicator is configured such that the spacing of the indicator franzes decreases by more than 10% when elongating the knitted netting by 50% of the target elongation. Further, a method of determining the longitudinal elongation of such a knitted netting with respect to a target elongation is provided.

Packing polycrystalline silicon

The present invention relates to a method for packing polysilicon in the form of chunks by introducing the chunks into a first plastic bag, the first plastic bag being introduced into a second plastic bag after the introduction of the chunks, or the first plastic bag already having been inserted into the second plastic bag prior to the introduction of the chunks into the first plastic bag, as a result of which the chunks are present in a double bag which is sealed, wherein the air present in the two plastic bags in the double bag after the introduction of the chunks is removed before the sealing of the double bag such that the total volume of the double bag relative to the volume of the chunks is 2.4 to 3.0.
